AF Advanced Fencing Bag [Misc.]

Did you know that AFGear sizing does not use industry standards ? They quote sizes for pants using the 'outside' pant waist dimension and not the standard practice of using the 'inside' waist dimension that circumscribes the wearers waist. If you have this sizing issue AFGear charges you for return shipping and for the shipping to correct their error. Not a customer friendly approach considering they do not follow industry standards.

Because Girls / Women do Fence and fence well !!This is my daughters second Pink bag from this company the other one lasted about 6 years. Well made, lots of storage zippered pockets. The bag is EXCELLENT quality. The material is such that I'm certain it'll last for years and years. It's got that giant zipper on the weapon compartment. It's large enough for me to fit a couple of different masks but trying to get more than one or two epees and masks without bending them can be a little game of tetris. But it all fits with some effort. Plus a uniform in the side pocket.However, I was mildly disappointed. I'm an historical fencer with the SCA and I figured the "advanced" bag would be big enough for the rapier that I use for competition. The bag was just barely too short on the inside and my weapon wouldn't fit. Buuut it obviously wasn't designed accommodate weapons any larger than an epee. And that's nobodys fault but mine for not checking the dimensions, first... But a warning nevertheless, the bag is perfect for *Olympic/collegiate style* fencing equipment. Not the SCA (unless the blade on your weapon is 35 inches or less, or if you travel with the weapon taken apart)All in all, a great bag. Just make sure it's the right size for your needs.

This is a quality item at a good price. Holds up well and seems to have plenty of room for everything my son takes to fencing.

This bag is the perfect size for fencing shoes, mask, foil, etc. My son likes it, and it cleans up easily. We left it outside over night to let the gases/scent of the fabric escape.

I needed a new gear bag after my cat got a hold of the old one. This one was a good size for the price, and has done just fine for my needs.

my only complaint it that it would only fit two fencing masks and about three swords. over all the zipper seems to be high quality. My old fencing bad had zipper problems that is why I replaced it.
