How many come in a package?

One in a package. I had ordered 12 and the box came with 12 individually wrapped dispensers.

lately having plunger problems w/these! has quality if tubes changed? bad lot of tubes? different manufacturer of tubes? anyone else?

I have had three orders all bad. FIrst one had spoiled product and ring was in the wrong place on the plunger. Second order the same problem with the ring. I ordered these from another company due to price and ordered my third from Amazon. Same issue, bad product, ring in the wrong spot on all tubes. There used to be an expiration date on the tubes, now there is a DOM with a date. I think this may mean Date of Manufacture but it is not at all like what I am used to. Switching to the Lysine treats. So far, so good.

How long does it take to become effective?

I find that after giving it to my cat for 2-3 days, I notice an improvement. But I have no idea if that's the norm. When she was really bad with an upper respiratory issue after surgery, it took a little longer. Maybe the whole syringe, or so. But markedly improved after that. The gel is a miracle, in my book!
