It’s only March in Colorado, so haven’t actually been able to use this new tool. I bought one for my husband and one for me. He absolutely loves his! Can’t wait to get out in the garden and try it out! I’m excited too. It looks well made, sturdy and we can both think of many applications for it! Great fun!

Loved the looks of it so I had to order one for my self. These really work, cut through grass, break up hard roots and soil. Love it and the case.

I bought this for metal detecting and found that it works very well for this purpose. The measurements on the blade are very helpful when trying to locate an object at a know depth.I liked the look of the black canvas sheath as it stood out less than a leather one. (Walking around with a metal detector is bad enough, but having a large knife displayed prominently on your hip is even worse.) I was a little worried about the longevity of the black canvas sheath, but found that there is a plastic liner inside that reduces the chance of premature wear.The only partial negative is the knife blade is not full tang. In other words, the metal handle portion of the blade does not extend the entire length of the wooden handle. Hypothetically one could try and pry a manhole cover open with it and possibly break the wooden handle. I find this unlikely however and am comforted by the fact the seller responded with a follow-up email after the purchase and that this knife has a lifetime warranty.Bottom line, I am happy with this purchase and feel comfortable recommending this knife.If this review was helpful please click the "yes this review was helpful" button below. Love it also. I wish the manufacturer would make the handle red. Once the handle gets dirty from all the mud I sometimes can’t find it when I lay it down. Really pops up weeds easily.
