First off I paid for this product , ie. it was not free. It was a bit more costly than some but you get what you pay for. It has dual usb charging ports with the latest technology: Qualcomm quick charge as well as a smart IC port. The build quality is such that it fits your lighter in the car snugly but not over-sized - which I have had some nearly pull my lighter adapter out of its socket. Always a concern is the possibility of overcharge and this Hussell has built-in protection system against overcharge-overheat-over current so this protects your valuable and expensive phone from harm. As far as durability, I have not had it very long but the manufacture states " We will resolve all issues in your favor, even years after your purchase." so i take it the warranty is more than a few years !!! Lastly, if you need it quick, amazon has it on free overnight! If that was not enough, some units randomly ship with a bonus free certificate but with it or not, this is a product I would buy again when I get more cars. ---Bruce

Being tired of gas station chargers which didn’t work or were extremely slow charging , I made the decision to actually read reviews and check the specs. This proved to be very worthwhile! Due to my work, there’s a tremendous amount of security on my cell which ZAPS my battery over the course of an 10 hour work day. While driving home I can now actually get a charge on my phone. This makes my family very happy ! I can now actually charge and receive calls on my drive home, sounds silly...but prior to purchasing this charger, it was impossible for my phone to get a 1% charge during a 20-45 minute drive! Also keep in mind I couldn’t receive or make calls if battery was low, because The charging ports did not charge rapidly enough to keep up or charge if I made a call or receive one. Basically my phone just died I’m thrilled to say this charging port is absolutely fantastic. Not only does it actually charge my phone, it charges while I’m making calls or receiving a call. I’ve checked to see if unit get hot during use and it does not! Having 2 ports is nice Incase our son is with me and needs a quick boost on his phone. I’ve used this daily since it arrived (3weeks) and I haven’t experienced any decline in charging rate which has always been a problem with the Gas Station chargers! I know this is a long review for such a tiny item but I wanted to provide info to actually be helpful! I’ve spent at least $150 easy on cheap charge adapters over the course of a years, and I’ve finally bought one that works!! If it dies, it has already paid for itself by removing my dead phone stress! I HIGHLY Recommend this item and I will definitely purchase another one should I need too.

I am absolutely loving how fast my Galaxy S9 charges with that charger, I'm pretty sure it's just as fast if not faster than the wall charger that came with my phone. I also love the fact that you get TWO high speed ports (3.0 & 2.4) instead of a fast and slow port like all the other chargers I've owned. I bought one for my mom for Xmas (she loves hers too, she can actually charge her Galaxy J7 in the car now in less than the 2 hrs her old charger took) and got mine for FREE with the in box coupon, which was a nice surprise. The charger is plastic and looks it, but not in a cheap way, it's very sleek looking as it is very low profile. Overall if you're in the market for a quick car charger at a great price the Hussell Qualcomm Quick Charger 3.0 can't be beat in my book. Thank you Hussell for giving away a FREE charger to every 50th box.

I don't need fast charging at all times, which hurts the life of my phone battery. This is the only charger I could find that has both fast and slower charging options so I can swap between either one depending on my needs. On rare occasion I need to fast charge in my car this can do it, but for the rest of the time it can charge at a slower rate to not damage my phone battery as much. This has worked well for keeping my iphone at 98% battery health after 2 years of use. The charger fits pretty snug into the port. It helps to squeeze the metal bars on the sides of the charger to help it go into the hole easier. I like how the snug fit keeps it from popping out or disconnecting when I pull out the USB cables. My old charger wasn't as snug fit and would sometimes pull out just enough to disconnect the power without me knowing. For my daily use I use the fast charging port for my dashcam and the slow charging port for my phone, then just swap them if I happen to need to charge the phone faster.

I can't believe how complicated it is to buy the proper double USB port charger for car lighters. Many of them don't charge fast enough and or only charge from one side and if you try to charge devices simultaneously, the charge speed on both drop drastically. If you research, you'll start to notice and understand that not all devices are equal. When I started to search for a product that would work as I expected, I knew I wanted to buy one that would charge good not just from one USB port but from both and simultaneously. That is how I realized how complicated it was, to the point that I almost gave up but luckily I kept at it and eventually I came across this product. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. Sure enough, thus far they are working as advertised. These actually charge simultaneously and they charge at a pretty decent speed. I don't have any times, specs or anything to compare it to but what I do know is that compared to other ones I've owned, this is by far the better ones. No complaints for me this far.

Okay, I know it's just a car charger. But we were having problems with an old car charger not even keeping up with a Note 8's power draw when it was running Waze (a real power hog), much less actually charging it. This little bad boy does the trick. It arrived nicely packaged, and feels solidly made. Plugged it in. It's really small, so tight quarters aren't a problem. The charging speed is fantastic. I didn't measure it, but it might even be faster than the home Samsung fast chargers that came with the phones. It's delightful to see the battery level rising quickly even when the phone is running Waze and tons of other apps. Oh, and there's a second USB charging port. It also charges another Note 8, while Waze is running, and WHILE the primary port is in use! Holy smokes, I'm giddy. I can't think of anything bad to say about this charger. Good tools are a joy. Well done.

I've had several of these in the past, and they've worked fine. However, when I finally upgraded my old phone for a new one (it was 5 years old), none of my car chargers could keep up. I would keep getting a warning stating that the battery was draining faster than it could charge (when using Waze), or that the charge was too slow and could possibly damage my battery. Even getting notification that it would take nearly 2 hours to charge from 80%. I purchased this charger and it has saved me on long trips. It keeps my phone fully charged when using it and, when I first get into the car, regardless of the level, it always states that it'll take less than an hour to fully charge. I've immediately ordered another one for our other car so that we don't have any issues regardless of the car we use. The only "gripe" is that it is larger than what I would've liked. I like the chargers to not protrude at all from the lighter but, considering the electronics that this thing probably has inside, it's probably impossible. Not enough of a negative to take out any stars.
