QNIGLO Intercoms Wireless for Home. This is a nice little unit, if you want a base station type FRS radio. I got multiple neighbors on multiple channels, so the range is pretty good. Easy to use. Press a button for a channel, and set a transmit frequency with a switch. I wanted to use this for a house intercom, but do not want my infirm mother broadcasting to the neighbors that she needs to go to the bathroom. Otherwise it would be great, and would work with FRS handheld radios. Great unit. Gave it a 4 star due to lack of privacy frequencies.

I got this for our family for Christmas and since setting it up (on frequency A), for each room it has not worked as described. When I try to call a specific room (3 and CALL) the device broadcasts static as a ring tone in the two other rooms and the conversation is heard in all rooms. Sound quality of the conversation in all rooms is very poor, distorted and hard to understand. Unfortunately for me, the window for returns closed 4 days ago as I would return it after multiple attempts to troubleshoot the intercom with the directions.

The range is a little less than advertised. Hard to reach customer service. No phone number available.

This little unit is well built and easy to use. I was worried that the signal would be compromised due to some lead lined walls in my x-ray room, but there was no problem at all. The voice transmission is crisp and clear. Well worth the money. I would give is six stars if I could.

These serve a simple purpose but are also useful. They can be used to monitor another room (like a baby monitor) and I may use for them for that purpose on occasion. Currently my use is to communicate from a house to a detached garage/workshop area.They work fine at ~160 feet or so through multiple walls. The sound quality is a bit worse than I had expected, even when used closer than that, but sounds/voices are still easily understood. There is a lo-fi quality to the sound transmitted that was a little disappointing at first but easy to get used to.The intercom system can be expanded too, which could be a great use for a small business. There are multiple channels that can be paired up to use - a push of one of the number buttons is all it takes to change. There are also 3 channels (A,B,C) that can be selected in case there is interference on one. I tested them to see if they would improve the somewhat "lo-fi" sound quality, but they didn't. I didn't expect them to though since it's more for noise interference which I didn't feel I had, but wanted to at least test to make sure. Additionally, the units are a good small size as well - perfect for their purpose!

I really like this product and the fact there were 3 units. I spend alot of time in my shed or my shop and try to text someone in my house and they never respond due to phone being away or off. Or if they text me, i dont hear it. With this setup and the call feature we can ring each other from any of the 3 locations. The range is pretty far and voices stay clear. We have the shed set to a1 channel and shop set to a2. With the group call/talk the house one can ring both locations (shop/shed) at once . This truly is a must have for anyone that has multiple work locations to ask for help, a drink or to be called in for dinner! Another feature I like it the fact that you can run these via usb cable. My shed is all solar and this unit usb plugs right into my solar controller.
