iJDMTOY 4pc Set Universal Fit Clear/Transparent Scratch Protection Films for Car Truck SUV Side Door Handle Cup

First off theses Did Not come in a box as shown. They came in a simple package. The instructions make it seem like they are easy to install but that is deceiving. I tried installing one and it was a disaster. Theses are Not self adhering. You have to use mildly soapy water while trying to maneuver just right in the cup of the door handle. Then try to press out all the air bubbles while trying to keep the shape, nearly impossible. Looked horrible when I finally got it on and that took me an hour for one. Only positive is they are completely transparent. I do not and will not recommend these to anyone.

This is not a bad product but they do not give you a single instruction on how to install it and that is the biggest issue here. To give you an idea I use this on the following cars. 2014 Prius, 2013 CRV and 2008 Maxima.A few thing that I found out and want to clear before you read the install part. 1. Each door protector is split in half (these is actually a good thing), 2. They will not cover the door area 100%Installation : you will need - 1. A sprayer with soapy water (one or two of dishwasher detergent is all you need) 2. A key chain member ship card (we all have those member ship cards for the supermarket, pharmacy or gym that we keep on our key chains) 3. A clean rag (paper towels tend to leave small particles behind that will mess you up, DON’T USE PAPER TOWELS)1. This is the most important step. Clean the door handles area, if you fail to do this you will find that you have bubble and they will not come out. If this happens you will need to trash that protecting cover since you will not be able to reuse it.2. Spray the area with soapy water3. Take off one of the protectors (they split in half) and line it up. They will not stick because of the soapy water. Take your time and line it up the way you want.4. Clean the water once you found the right spot with a clean rag. When exes water is clear use the key chain card to remove the bubbles. I found it easier to hold the protector on top and work my way down. You may have to repeat the rag a couple of times.5. Repeat the steps to add the other half. You can spray soapy water on the part that you already install.- DO NOT let the two half touch. The second one will lift the first one of and then mess up the glue.-Keep in mind that they will not touch in the middle. I found best to line up the top and bottom corners or you can space then if you think they will protect more.If you have a couple bubbles (and you will) go back with a rag and card to remove then. If there was any dust particles left behind… you can kiss it good bye and get a new one.Hope this helps

works, but 2 minor factors I am not happy about.1) A little too less coverage than I would(It is generic cut and not cut to fit my car model. so I cant expect it to fit well, but a little more coverage would have served better)2) Quite easy to install, if you are ok with the bubbles and wrinkles. But you have to be careful to fix without bubbles trapped inside or without wrinkles. With the glue used, I am not sure if it is possible to pull out and put it back on to clear the bubbles and wrinkles. Again, I can't blame the product because its going on a curved surface behind the handle and with the glue on, trying to do it clean may need some careful effort. It would have been much nicer if it was like the cellphone screen protectors which you can install with a liquid sprayed and then squeeze the liquid out.I may buy it again for the price and probably spend some more time to fix it carefully without bubbles. For now, it serves the purpose, and I just have to be a little careful.

While the design and concept are a great idea the execution is not.These are made from a simple plastic that you would find covering a cell phone right our of the box. The adhesive is spot on in that it does stick right away and very well to the clean surface. However as sun and head even here in a spring like day over the course of a week has proven otherwise.Air bubbles appear and they are starting to collect dust under them from where water has worked its way inside. Oh and now they are a bit sharp to the touch of the back of your hand as the plastic has hardened in places. Now too they are pealing off and the plastic has become brittle and broken. As you can see in the pictures the 4 door handles of a 2010 Rav 4 gave me four chances to get it. I installed them as I would most window treatments, as I did my 3M door jams savers.If these were made from a different polymer then they would be a better product. Over all when they finally wear off I will not be getting new ones. Oh and there are only PIC-TO-GRAMS for the installation...that is unless you can read Japanese.

Pros: Inexpensive. Shipping was paid for (especially good when its such a small item). Quality thin vinyl (looks like plastic). Arrived unbelievably quick. I think it was the next day or at least in two days. Wasn't expecting it that quick. Easy to peel off. Doesn't mar the paint.Cons: Under the door handle is always difficult to apply anything. Despite the "little bat" looking configuration, there's no way that I could conceive gettng the vinyl film on without bubbles. You will never get it to look like the picture- all smooth. But all I wanted it for was to protect stratches. I am a novice by the way on applying clear films to my car. But I think the underside of the handle can be done by someone who knows what they are doing and has done it may times and knows the tricks-whatever those are. I would like to know myself.

Works good

Although it will protect from scratches it doesn't look very nice. Doesn't blend in and because it's suppose to be generic for many different vehicles. I should have bought specific ones for my vehicle. Was difficult to apply as well, had to work at it. Only applied one on the drivers handle due to looks.

Not bad for the price. Very thin. I recieved 10 in my pack. Some bubbles didn't smooth out but i had extra to redo.

It is so hard to put it under the door handles.And the shape doesn't match with every car either.
