The taste was not as spicy as I expected, it’s mild - but I was happy it was not that spicy. It was a pleasant combination of sweet, sour, and mild spicy, as I remember - and the mango texture was very soft and creamy and not hard or tough - it’s the real deal!! If you’re looking for a taste comparison - it taste a little like Rebanaditas lollipops the mango flavor - but even better! If you’re searching for a taste of home or something sweet and spicy - buy them now!!

Exactly what I wanted!
My family and I are from Trinidad and we love the preserved red fruit but it’s impossible to find it where we live. I was excited to see I could purchase these on Amazon when I was really craving them. For the price, I will only be purchasing once in a blue moon because they are extremely over priced but they were amazing. Exactly like the ones we get in Trinidad. Not too hard and great flavor.

Not hot!
I was dissatisfied. I was looking forward to Trini hot mango. It was anything but. Very soft and mushy, and not spicy at all. Not cheap neither. Not again, either!

Way too expensive but....
The taste took me back to my childhood. Very authentic. I went through two bags much quicker than I care to admit. But the price is prohibitive. We Caribbean folks out here in the diaspora, especially in out-of-reach places, would love to have a taste of home. Consider dropping your prices and I would be SO there!

Of course it is delicious if you are a fan of Lat Chiu preserves. This is the authentic Lat Chiu brand made in Trinidad and Tobago. I only wish that they had the bigger sizes for sale. These get gobbled up so quickly. LOL!
