Great return on plants
Iโm having a 90 percent return this second year after planting the asparagus. The harvest is more than expected and the spears are hearty. Good product

Beautiful size & condition
Received my Crowns, they look GREAT!In comparison, I purchased some 2 year old Crowns from a different vendor, they were slimy, very stinky & most important were NOT 2 year old crowns, at the very best maybe 1 year! The Crowns I received were at least 2 years old, they had a strong healthy, earthy smell to them! They look BEAUTIFUL! I can not wait to put them in the ground! Thank YOU!

Purple Passion
Crowns were robust & healthy, but all were covered in mold/fungus.

Very good germanation...
I had almost 100 percent germination on these asparagus crowns. I do not think they are as old as suggested in the claims of the seller but next season should show the truth. At least they sprouted and grew!

Plant did not grow
This plant died during the shipping process and never started growth. However I did purchase the green asparagus right next to where these were planted and they all came up. Shipper would not send out another batch of seeds

Excellent
Planted a bed of these a couple weeks ago, we already have skinny asparagus poking through the mulch. Unexpected....... We planted in a fertile sandy soil, soaking the crowns overnight in water, then planting the crowns as instructed. Same result for both the millennium and purple passion varieties (planted in separate raised beds/areas)

Excellent product!
These crowns were fat and fabulous. I ordered the Mary Washingtons and New Jerseys too. I love this companies product. I will order more! Mahalo!

Healthy crowns but not sure they are two year plants.
I deducted a star because only a few of the crowns were large enough to be a two year crown. The rest were quite small and the resulting plants have extremely thin and sparse growth. I might have to wait another season or two to harvest. I'm not an expert and that is based on my research about growing asparagus. Two or three didn't sprout but they sent a few extra plants so I got twenty live plants sprouting. Some of them are coming up with green shoots instead of purple. I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens next year.
