Légère Reeds - Alto Saxophone Reed, Classic, Strength 2.50 (AS2.50) - Easy-playing, Durable, Synthetic Student Saxophone Reed

Gotta say this reed was really easy to use and playing it was really nice! I mostly bought this reed because I wanted to see what the hype was about; additionally, there was also other people who hated these reeds so I wanted to see what it was like for myself. This reed did not disappoint, it plays like my best vandorean reeds! (I mean, it BETTER play nice for this price so it’s really the bare minimum) My only issue with it is that it starts slipping off my mouthpiece sometimes but I have a feeling that’s just my old legiture.

Daugher plays in the high school band, she seems to like hers better than wooden reeds

My son is new to instruments. He is a typical middle school boy, super rough with everything. His wooden reeds were getting bent or broken often. The plastic reed solved this problem and has been working well for him.

Definitely worth it, but it requires a lot more breath support than a regular reed. It sounds good for the cheap sax that I have, and it’s great for cleaning. You can just run it under water and be done. It hasn’t chipped after about three months use and I really like it. Also really helps with the sensory issues I have with regular reeds, doesn’t feel as fuzzy to use!

fine ,no issue for me , it plays well.. reed is durable, no need to buy cane reed all the time = save money...

Von diesen Blättern bin ich begeistert, hatte zuvor auch schon andere von Légère gekauft. Seitdem spiele ich sie fast nur noch und bin gespannt, wann ich meinen Vorrat an Rohrholz-Blättern mal wieder anfassen. Sound und Ansprache sind erste Klasse.

I usually use the Signiture 2.5, but I thought I would try one for a punt. The tone to my ear is better than the signiture, however you do have to work harder. I played it at band rehearsal last night, I thought I was playing out of time as reed didn’t respond in time. I know this is me as it does take more power to get it to sound. It’s one I am going to switch between. Maybe I’ll totally convert eventually ,it is always the same a trade off here. I rarely use cane now. Life is so short.

Ne avevo acquistata una da 2 poiché avevo letto nelle recensioni che era dura come una 2.5 Vandoren o anche più. Non è affatto così, infatti sono stato costretto a comprare anche una 2.5. Queste ance sono circa 0.2/0.3 delle Vandoren, quindi una 2 corrisponde ad una 2.25 mentre una 2.5 corrisponde ad una 2.75 (più o meno). Questo dopo aver confrontato la durezza con Vandoren blu e facendodiverse prove. Queste ance sono costanti nella durezza e nel suono e non necessitano di essere inumidite prima di suonare. Particolarmente consigliate per lo studio.
