*UPDATE - 5 YEARS LATER* Moving out and taking these down - they stayed up and glowed well for 5 years and were easy to remove. A couple took a bit of paint off, but once I got the hang of taking them off they came down cleanly and easily. Very happy with this product Original Review: I'm a grown up. I wanted a space themed glow-in-the-dark bedroom, but I didn't want it to be *cheesy* you know, like with those 5-point plastic stars we all had as kids? (I also had spaceship and planet shapes. Yeah, I was cool.) The photo on the product description is photoshopped, so when these arrived they were smaller than I was expecting (if you read the product description they tell you the size, so it shouldn't have been that surprising). However, one package was enough to cover my small bedroom ceiling. Some people might want to use less, but in the words of a wise friend of mine, "The right time to stop putting up glow stars is when you run out." I found them fairly easy to apply, but if you have large hands they might be difficult to position. I was also able to remove a few and reposition them without them falling off. These green ones glow crazy bright, so it totally makes up for them being tiny. I had my bedroom light on for just a few minutes and it was enough to keep them glowing all night. I bought some different colored ones and couldn't see them after a few minutes, but the green ones stayed bright.

This is one of the best products I've ever purchased. I very rarely leave reviews, but I am floored by how great these little dots are. I wanted a way to spice up my dorm room, and I wanted to do something neat with my lights. I bought a domed light with a blue light bulb, and then I put these little guys all over my walls. I keep my blue light on (it is important that you keep a light source on and near them before you intend to use them) before I go to bed and when I turn out the lights, these little dots just brighten the entire room up. I put up a couple pictures to give an example. What I love about these dots is there's a great balance between the larger dots, the medium sized ones, and the smaller ones. They really are the perfect size to create small galaxies. They are extraordinarily bright for a glow-in-the-dark product, they are fairly cheap to purchase, and they stick to my walls perfectly! Again, I live in a dorm, so sticking things to the wall is always a concern. These dots at first didn't seem like they'd stick for very long, but I was pleased to find out that they stick just enough to keep them on whatever surface you want them on, but will come off with little hassle when it's time to get rid of them. This really is a great buy and I can't recommend it more!

They aren't as bright as I was hoping: maybe we should of got a bigger pack (if that's an option) so we could fill in the ceiling more. You really can't tell they are glowing unless it is DARK and you're right under them, but I think they will work for our daughters room so she has the night sky feel. We have "popcorn" ceilings and they stick and hold very well and blend! With the blending being said, it's quite difficult to see where you have already put them, a couple times I almost put them right next to each other. I don't suggest getting these if you don't have patience, don't have a step ladder and don't have help... I didn't have help, it took me 2 days to get them all up because pushing them into the popcorn ceiling hurts your thumbs after awhile :/ but also because I needed to wait for it to be dark so I could see where I missed. Overall I think they are worth the price, could be brighter but works for what we needed them for.

These are the ones to buy! The varying sizes of these little half spheres make them look like the real night sky. As some have mentioned, if you don't have a ton of sunlight, you will have to "charge" them - I just keep a painting spotlight in the closet and shine them directly for anywhere from 2-3 minutes, up to a half hour or so if I want them really bright. They don't stay bright for all that long, maybe an hour or two, but long enough to make bedtime awesome! I bought these for my kid's room - one order was plenty for a room that is about 12'x14', two sets would have been overkill (and a lot of work). After a couple months, I haven't found a single one on the floor, so the adhesive seems to work very well. Ever since putting them up I've been slowly chipping away at my wife trying to get her to let me do our room too! Pro tip: don't just do the ceiling, spread them down a few feet at the tops of each wall too, and you'll get a really nice dome effect like a real night sky! I even put one on the inside edge of a ceiling fan blade for a nice shooting star effect, because why not. Will definitely buy these again (once my wife gives in)!

I absolutely love these. I stuck them all over the walls in my boys room 5 years ago. They are still there and still glow. They are very sticky and supper easy to apply. It took forever because there was a lot but it looks good.

Not sure if all the reviews refer to the same product. But the ones I got fulfilled by DAGOU seem to last just about an hour or so. I even used a LED UV Bar glow to try "charge" the stars up for 2 hours prior to my daughters bed time. They look fantastic when they are bright. My only complaint is that they probably last about an hour or so (even with about 2 hours of charging with UV lights. I was hoping this would last the night so as to comfort my daughter when she woke up in the middle of the night. Ah well. Disappointed that it could have been so much better. If I could give this product 10 stars I would!!! Seriously!! I’m creating a science themed room for my kiddo and this right here has been the best addition. They are so easy to use. Each little dot already has an adhesive on it. Out of the package, they look like the old school dot candy that comes on the paper strips. They have all stuck to the ceiling with easy and none have fallen down. I’m honestly shocked at how well they glow. They also blend right into the popcorn ceiling so during the day they are completely unnoticeable. The room is about 12x14 feet and I used 3 packs of these because I like the starts to look more condensed but I could have easily gotten away with just 2 packages. I would say the best way to apply them is to shine a light on them for a few seconds to get them to glow and then carefully attach them to the ceiling while the room is darker so you can see where you need to add more. Seeing my kiddo’s face light up when he saw them was priceless!
