Powerful, Quiet, and Stylish Upgrade
This range hood exceeded my expectations. The suction power is incredible. It clears smoke and cooking odors almost instantly. The sleek design gives my kitchen a modern, high-end look, but installation took some effort. The multiple speed options are very practical for different cooking needs. Overall, a fantastic investment that combines performance, style, and ease of use.

Fantastic range hood! Check on Silver color.
After moving to a new house, we were looking to replace the built-in vent on the microwave that was lacking in power. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. I was able to do the installation mostly by myself with a little help when moving the range hood up to the mounting bracket. The process is pretty straightforward, although it can be a little time consuming. Fotile provides a tutorial for the installation which was very helpful. There are also videos on the internet that show installations done in real homes. The only thing I would be aware of is that the color on the silver Fotile vent hood was not that similar to the product image on Amazon. You can see in my picture that the range hood face has more of a baby blue color rather than silver. We were fine with this since it did match our backsplash. At the time of this review, we have been using the range hood for 1 month and have been very happy with it!

Functionality with modern look
This product is outstanding. Modern look, nice light, quieter the anything else, easy installation, just make sure you find wood and n the wall, if you turn it off but vents are open then fan will automatically turn on and adjust speed, Yes you can use it as a mirror to see what’s cooking but that stupid, went holes are not threaded but look at bolts closely. They are self threaded bolts. Just put it on small drill and done. Definitely recommended to everyone who is cooking and like modern look and functionality.

Powerful exhaust
Very powerful and draws out nearly all the cooking smell as advertised! Also very nice looking! Self installation took 4 hours, and the instructions are clear. should be faster with professional installation. Quite on low settings, the high settings do get loud but that is to be expected at such high suction power.

Best hood we have ever bought.
Installation needs some attention to detail. Once installed, the hood works perfectly, suction is great and clean up is straightforward. Cooking smells no longer linger and waft in to the rest of house ( central air condition ). This is a 30 day review.

Powerful, sleek and quiet!!
I've only owned this range hood for a couple weeks now and it works really well so far. The black color is unique and matches to my oven. I've gotten some compliments from friends for its modern look. I used to open all my windows to avoid the smells when cooking steaks or stir-frying. Now I only turn it on to the 2nd speed without opening my windows. Amazingly, you can't even tell that we just seared steaks. The lowest speed is what I use the most for soup or veggies and it's way more quieter than other range hoods I had previously. This range hood is super powerful, you can observe the exhaust airflow under the LED lights. All in all, I'm happy with its performance, sleek modern appearance and noise level. With this new range hood, I'm more motivated to cook for family and I think this unit is a GREAT value for the money.

The best range hood
Choosing the right range hood wasn't easy for us. We cook, we fry, we stew. Our kitchen opens to all rooms. At first, we had a microwave combined with a vent. That doesn't come with much power but very noise. My home office shares a wall with the kitchen, when the fan is on, my entire office is shaking. With that kind of noise, the smell of cook still gets everywhere -- all rooms in the first and second floors. We hated it so much but don't know which new range hood we should purchase. I was a little hesitated in buying Fotile. It's a big brand in China but not much market share in the States. My wife pulled the trigger. We got an installer recommended by Fotile to come in and install the range hood. Now using it for more than half a year, I would say it can't be any better. With the bright LED light under the range hood on, we can see that all molecules are rushing to the hood. No smell would sneak out into our rooms. It's also very quiet. At the highest speed, I am not bothered at all in the office next to the kitchen. I think it would be pretty hard to find another range hood so good. If you are in a situation as we did, I would say just pull the trigger and buy it.

it really sucks!
During a kitchen remodel, I had a carpenter add an exterior penetration so I could put in an actual range hood. I had fairly high hopes for the Fotile range hood, but I’m impressed with how well it sucks up smoke. I can braise rack of lamb and sear steaks on the stovetop without smoking up my house. I’ve had some pretty nasty flare-up when deglazing with alcohol, but this thing works like a champ. I like the grease trap tray at the bottom as opposed to the standard mesh screen that gets saturated and gross. Install instructions were good as well. Templating was a bit of a pain and I think they could come up with a better cabinet cut list. It seems like you cut away a bit more than is actually necessary, but it probably does help with clearance when pivoting the range hood into place. You also need spacers to keep the unit from warping when pulled up if your cabinets have a lip underneath. I’d recommend measuring the height of the lip and ordering some at the same time as the hood. I recommend looking up “aluminum spacer 3/4” OD 3/8” ID” at whatever length you need. My one minor disappointment is that I was hoping that the range hood would work like a periscope so I could see what was going on in the pot/pan from across the kitchen, but due to the angles and mounting height, it doesn’t really work as one.
