How many grams would you use of this per cup or mug of tea? Trying to work out how long it may last me. Thank you in advance.

I use about 6 grams, but I drink from a large mug. 3 to 4 grams would be sufficient for an average cup or mug.

I would say it has very minimal calories - you’re not eating the mint just drinking the nutrients from it which are very good for you.

Can you use this as a lemongrass substitute in cooking?

It is actual lemon grass - so yes.

Erm - Amazon have asked me to comment on peppermint tea in relation to your question. So - let's assume you are asking if loose peppermint can be smoked? Perhaps you are trying to make your own menthol cigarettes now that they have been banned (as if menthol is somehow worse for you than nicotine and all the other rubbish in cigarettes - but I digress). I would say the leaves would not burn in the same way as tobacco leaves - these were quite big leaves and made great tea - but they would be hard to roll. But if you can smoke banana skins ( I have heard this is a thing) - then you can smoke these leaves but they'd be a lot more pleasant and better for you placed in a teapot with boiling water, the traditional way. May be though you wanted to smoke them in the way that you might smoke vegetables for fancy recipes - I would say that they would not be successful for this venture, nor would they impart a pleasant aroma to food if placed on top of wood chips for the smoking of said vegetables.

Peppermint Tea with benefits...

When I opened the bag the fresh smell of peppermint was great. I used a few leaves first of all to test the strength, adding boiled water and left it to steep for 10 minutes or so. I could really taste the peppermint and wasn't disappointed at all. In fact have use most days and added a little bay leaf tea I also made from organic leaves and makes a healthy drink inbetween cups of black tea. So overal very pleased with this product. Recommended also to a friend.

Only Peppermint Tea I Buy

So, having ordered 4 of these in the past and another just now, I feel it's time to leave a review. I love peppermint tea, real leafs too. Ordered from somewhere before and the leafs were far too loose and powdery and it all penetrated through the filter. I only ever order from these now. Peppermint tea totally aids digestion, relaxing and good to drink after yoga or meditation. Drink at any time really as there is zero caffeine. If you ever have stomach issues, or bloating, drink a cup or two of this. Scent - strong too! Taste - see delicious!

Not like other mint teas

This is an excellent peppermint tea. The leaves are huge - it's not like the very fine leaves / dust also available out there and it comes in a very big bag (about twice the size of the last 100g bag of dried peppermint). It has a clean strong taste - 1 tsp per person is plenty and this makes the tea good value compared to the others out there too.

Good Flavour

I was dubious about buying this tea, not used loose-leaf tea for years. Bought peppermint in the sachets but this is far more superior.Really good flavour and I will be looking at other teas sold my this supplier.
