I knew based on other reviews these were going to have a bad smell but I don’t think I was fully prepared for how bad the smell really would be. I did spray them with air freshener and put outside and it got better. These are ok for my purpose of adding with lights. You can see they are not very full but I didn’t expect much for the price. I may add some cherry blossom garland in to add fullness but for now I’m happy with this. At night with the lights this ivy looks fine but when those lights are out and you only see the ivy they do look pretty cheap. Again, depending on your purpose these might be just what you need. None of the leaves were falling off though and the price was right so I can’t complain.

Just as the other reviews say, this product has a really bad smell - like dead fish?? But to be totally honest, I only noticed after I put my nose right up to it out of pure curiosity. I can’t smell it from across the room or anything (update: smell went away after a few hours). I’m giving this product 4 stars because while the color is bright and beautiful, the packing was pristine, and the price is right…. I feel as though there is too much of the green plastic showing between the cluster of leaves. Taking away the illusion of it being real. Overall, a really good product quality wise!

The product didn’t have much of a smell at all and I personally think it was worth the money! The leaves are a little small but it isn’t an issue for me and doesn’t look weird. They don’t feel super cheap.

This is a 9’ tall x 4’8” width arch. The depth is about 18”. I got the 336 ft of ivy. I didn’t really think that I would use it all. My husband said to get the 336ft and as you can see by the video, he was right! I left the step ladder under the arch so that you could get a clearer feeling of the height and breadth of the arch. It did take me a couple of hours to do 1/3 what you see in the photo. But it didn’t have to take that long. I discovered a hack after putting a third of the strands up for the first layer. My mistake was that since every ivy strand is precut to be about 6’ long, at first, I just scrunched up the 6’ in my hand and then went round and round the pole, attaching it with floral wire at the top and bottom. But it just takes too long that way. Instead, take the 6’, and bend it in half so that it is 3’. Then, attach the end (which is now 2 pieces) to the pole. And then Wrap this 3’ around and around the pole. This makes it take less than half the time because you wrap around the pole half the amount of times. And because it is so much easier wrapping 3’ around the pole compared to 6’, it goes even more quickly. Another thing: if you are wrapping around something tall, make sure to precut floral wire so that you have several wires ready and just put them around the top of the arch wherever it’s convenient. Also, bring several strands of ivy with you up the ladder and drape them around areas so that you can grab them and don’t have to travel up and down the ladder a bunch of times. As you can see in the photo and video, using solar lights connected to the top of the arch so that the sun hits them a lot during the day, has a very nice lighting effect. Since this was for a wedding, I put lots of white blooms over the ivy to fill it out after I took this photo and made this video. This ivy was a nice undercarriage of green for my other flowers. This ivy was well worth the money and I’m happy with it overall. I should probably mention that I got wisteria strands from Amazon to go over the ivy as well but the ones I purchased were not good enough for my important wedding so I didn’t use them. But these ivy strands did pass the approval test for me.

I ordered these for my son‘s wedding. I bought 84 vines. I used zip ties to make 42 pairs. When you pull them out of the package, there is an odor to them but as long as you leave them out, the odor disappears. They are very realistic. They do tangle easily so you have to work carefully and the end product was amazing.

They look great but be warned the odor stays unless you wash it first I hung it up in my room and after a few days I started getting a lot of headaches and dizzy there must be residual chemicals coming off of it be careful and wash it out first with dish soap!!!

Parfait pour décorer, même à l'extérieur. Contrairement à beaucoup de commentaires, les lianes ne sentaient rien du tout. Je les avais commandées même en sachant pour l'odeur, donc bonne surprise!

The leaves keep ripping,I’m trying to hang them up too and they keep falling! When I also got them they had a very very weird smell to it! When I started to try to hang them up they were shedding and I had these like green marks every. Otherwise the leaves look very realistic and nice!

It's easily tears apart.

Bought this for my balcony to add a little privacy, looks pretty and does the job. Its quite sturdy

Visually it's just what I need! Looks great and the lengths are perfect. However I did read reviews before buying and despite a number commenting on the smell I still took a chance. I can confirm it smelled like I had bought a box of fish!! These are for outside so it will be fine, but they are pretty fishy stinky for sure. Apart from that no other complaints!
