Cloudray 20mm CO2 Laser Lens
I bought the Cloudray 20mm CO2 Laser Lens to use it with my HIKMICRO B01 Thermal Camera as a macro lens. It works really well! I confess that I was expecting a bit more quality on the image, but I can’t complain, the quality of the image is good enough for telling apart small SMD components in a PCB which is what I wanted this for. For electronics diagnosis it really makes a difference! I got the 3D model from thingiverse, thing: 5339476.

Cheaper and Better than the Laser OEM!
This lens immediately improved the quality of my cuts. Not sure about longevity yet, but at this print I can buy almost a dozen before reaching the OEM cost from Full Spectrum.

Game Changer!
I kept seeing suggestions in laser groups to upgrade from my stock Omtech lens. I decided to give cloudray a try as it was recommended as a “budget” upgrade…well let me tell you, my cuts are so much cleaner and my efficiency is up as well. Rookie tip-don’t forget to run a ramp test to make sure your focal height is right when you install the new lens, because it was completely different from the stock lens focal length.
