I find this journal to be the perfect item for making notes in while enjoying a coffee or working on some project on my laptop. Does not eat up too much table space while giving you enough real estate to make meaningful notations or drawings.

It is incredibly difficult to find a full-sized dotted spiral-bound notebook. I tried looking at big stationary and office supply stores to no avail. Online it's a little tricky too, if you don't carefully read the measurements, most of the time they come in way smaller sizes. This is a sturdy and more heavy duty notebook. The front is a clear plastic and the paper itself is a little thicker than regular notebook paper. I have used fine tipped markers to take notes and there's a little bleeding if press down for too long on one spot with darker colors but that's normal for many notebooks. Will get another one once I use up this one.

This notebook is excellent. It's well made, and I especially like the format. Most quadrille ruled notebooks I see or use have graph lines that are far too prominent, and interfere with the pencil shapes, text, and numbers. This notebook has a dot every 1/4" in one direction and every 1/8" in the other. This is sufficient for accurate drawing, either freehand or with a ruler and protractor, and the drawing remains the most important thing. Make a copy of a page and the drawing is what stands out, not the background grid.

Great except it arrived damaged. It’s a sketch book so I’m not returning but there are smudges on the paper and discoloration as well as something black on the laminate cover. Hard to see in the pics but it looks worse in real life. Would be a beautiful sketch pad otherwise.

Love these notebooks. I’m a pen and paper guy, especially for work meetings/notes. It’s not as fast as typing but I’m plugged in.This fits my needs. Spiral bound makes it easy to move from page to page, size is perfect to pair with a typical laptop. You aren’t carrying to much around.

I really like the minimal layout of this journal. The dotted lines are visible enough to be useful, but not distracting to the eye.Paper seems of good quality, and the backing is firm enough that I can write in it easily when I'm away from my desk. The blue binding gives a nice accent as well. Overall, a solid product.

So far I like it except for the fact that one side has different distant length in size in regards to the dots. Other than that, my pens dont bleed through the paper though I did try a sharpie marker and that did then again theres other thicker alternative markers. I think I'll buy another one in the next few months.

This is regular notebook paper except it has a dot grid instead of lines. If you write with a fountain pen, the ink will run. Highlighter shows up on the opposite side. Not worth the price. Invest in a Japanese or European notebook instead, like FOB Coop.
