NOTE: This listing is for both metal and polystyrene fames, and I am reviewing the METAL version. I've purchased 5 of these frames now, and my experiences have been vastly different. Initially, I gave it 5 stars, saying, "Frames are hit or miss -- especially when buying online. Will it look good? Is it well made? Will it fit my canvas? Is it easy to assemble? Will it include the right parts? In this case, the answer is YES to all of these questions. It looks fantastic, everything fits, it assembles easily with the included parts, and it's solidly constructed. Excellent value!" But on my 4th frame a year later, assembly was a disaster. The corners did not fit at all -- getting one aligned cased an adjacent corner to snap out of place. I remember it being easy, so what happened? I checked the 3 I had done earlier to see if there was a design change, and I found the problem -- the reason I think people are struggling are leaving poor ratings. As others have mentioned, there are no instructions, and one way of doing it looks logical, but is wrong. The fittings need to slide into the channels on the back of the frame -- not under the lip on the front of the frame. (In my pic, there is a small gap because these are not tightened down yet.) Do that, and I think you'll be fine. The included screws are not the ideal type for this frame and could be 1/16" - 1/8" shorter so they don't go through thinner canvases, but they work.

It was perfect came already assembled all I had to do was drop my art work in and secure it and it was ready to hang beautiful. I will be purchasing again. Thank you.

This is impossible to assemble!! The glue included doesn’t work on wood and makes a huge mess!! I am so disappointed in this frame. Never been so frustrated.

Doesn't feel the most high quality of sturdy and the price feels a bit steep but better than most other places. Fit frame perfectly. If you measure correctly and drill it should go a lot faster. I position the canvas in the frame. Mark the holes on the canvas by putting a pencil through the hole in the frame and the pre drill to ensure the wood doesn't split. Looks great!

Nice frame but unfortunately does not fit my canvas. Measurements incorrect. Have to return.

Giving this 3 stars because the instructions are AWFUL. It took me three tries to put this together because the instructions are unclear. Once I was done it was nice, but it’s a hassle to assemble because of the poor instructions.

Very nice accent for oil painting or watercolor on a canvas. Very easy DYI much cheaper than going to a hobby store in the area. Just make sure your measurements are correct. Recommend.
