Cat loves it
My cat likes to sleep on our conservatory roof which is fine during the summer, but he'll also sleep up there in the winter or he'd curl up in the shrubs under the trees when it's raining. No matter how much we tried to keep him indoors at night he wanted to sleep out, so got him his own little shed. We set up a wildlife camera to check he was using it....and he did! First night he went in at midnight and came out at 8.45am for breakfast.....it had rained for most of the night and he was dry....success! The little shed is well made and easy to put together in a few minutes. The slats on the floor are slightly apart which is good for ventilation and helps stop the straw getting damp from the breath of the cat. We put straw inside as this is better than blankets for keeping him warm, and when he does go in with wet fur straw dries out quicker than blankets. My cat is a medium/ chunky size cat. I'm happy he is safe and snug for the winter and he must love it or he wouldn't go in it

Good quality outdoor cat house
Quick delivery and packaged extremely well. The wood is of an excellent quality, it’s finished very well and it smells lovely. All the pieces required were present with clear easy to follow instructions. It could be assembled alone but we did it together. We placed the house in a spot where it is sheltered from the strongest winds. We didn’t screw the roof down as being able to lift it up will make it easier for cleaning inside. I put some plastic sheeting on the base inside and put in a faux lambs wool blanket which I made. Sprinkled in a little bit of Catnip and the very first night our stray cat Bob used it. It had poured down and it was great he used it and felt safe and dry. We’re very happy 😊 He’s a big cat and he fits in with no problems. I would personally highly recommend this product, easy to assemble, looks lovely and does a great job.

Great shelter for our cat
I am so pleased with this, our kitten (8 months) started going outside and has on occasion stayed out all night so I got this to make sure he had a shelter should he head back home before we were up (and it made me feel better), it arrived on time and all parts were there with no issues, quality looked good and it was easy enough to put together, but I did need an extra hand to hold each side to align it right for the screws, I would rate this 100% if the lid was actually on a hinge so it's easy to clean and open but I've ended up not screwing the lid on and I'm going to buy hinges instead, at first our cat didn't seem that interested but I placed an off cut of carpet on the bottom and now he loves it, the flap on the door is very close to the base so not much room to add anything to the inside bottom without the flaps then catching, I left a gap in the carpet for where it opens, our cat goes in it at night and in the day if the sun has been on it and kept it warm, not had winter yet to see how it gets on but so far very pleased

Gorgeous little cat house
Easy to put together. I did varnish to give it some extra sparkle. Perfect for providing shelter for cats in the rain. Love seeing their little faces peaking out.

Cat house
Edit: still going strong 2 years on and one of my cats goes in it all the time it still looks good, it doesn’t get wet inside and it’s better than I originally thought. It’s ok it’s not proper quality it’s not heavy it’s as light as a feather to be honest. It’s definitely not worth the price and the holes on the roof did not match flush I had to make another hole to attach it properly so now there’s a hole in the roof that I had to fill! There was a hole in the back which I also had to fill. I put some varnish on it to protect it from rain and weather damage.

Becareful of draught between the slats of wood
Fantastic little house not quite as long as l thought but it'll work out.its study and a good choice We have ordered Mylar its like a foil-we intend to put something soft on the base underneath the mylar for extra comfort before we permanently fix it inside" to ALL sides as insulation and warmth for winter- our girlie is an outdoor farm cat who prefers the outdoors- summer won't be an issue because this will be placed in my greenhouse house, which is where she has slept for 14 years anyway and she will sleep on the top and ofcourse we will put something more comfortable on the roof. Do l recommend this little cat house ? yes and it's reasonably priced

Caution... Much more work to do.
Got this for the stray cat that meows every morning and night at our back door. Very thin. We feed her but can't adopt her as we have a female indoor cat. Concerned about her over winter so figured an outdoor cat box would help her with a cosy blanket. Starting with positives. It's a good size for an average 5 to 7kg cat. It's reasonably cheap. Negatives: Weak construction. Wouldn't last a single northern winter. You'll need to wood treat it with something that doesn't make the cat sick. I used an all natural wax based treatment. It will be drafty and cold. The floor has large gaps between the panels. The wood is very thin. You'll need to apply an internal covering of bubble wrap foil or similar like I did. Keep the draft out and insulate. It is too close to the floor. Rain splash will get underneath and saturate the underside. You'll need to raise it up on rubber blocks like I did. Another 2 inches should help. The above foil bubble wrap will also help keep the wet out. In the end I did all the above and put next to the house south wall opposite the internal radiator so that should help keep it warmer in winter. Thick cosy blanket added. Note also the there are no pilot holes to line up with from some parts of the structure so you'll need to wing it. Also note the holes in the roof to screw it on were misaligned with the rest of the structure it was screwing into. I had to redrill and fill the old holes with sealant. Not a big deal for me as an accomplished professional all discipline engineer. But for most folk you will be better off with another product to avoid the total faff.

Well Built, Perfect fit for one cat
Mr Norris loves his new "rain shelter" He takes refuge when its raining outside and I have not let him in... Perfect. The house is well built and easy to assemble. I did not screw the roof on as you can then open the house up to clean it or put a piece of carpet in it for added warmth in the winter. The house took 20 mins to assemble fully and is very sturdy. I painted the house with weather paint so it lasts a bit longer. Cats also sit on the roof so a good dual purpose feature. Not sure if this is worth the full retail price. I bought it for £40 at the time of purchase and I would say this is the price I would expect to pay for this house. Pros Well built Large enough for a cat Window Cons Expensive Flat Pack

Bonita y buena calidad
Fácil de montar , quizás la puerta quedaría mejor un poco más arriba , si se pone un colchón , casi no puede entrar ,solo le puse una manta. A mis gatos les encanta
