A good product.
This product works very well for testing fiber optic cables. Its small size, easy to use and its portabbility is a plus.

Seems to work quite well.

Not your typical Fluke quality
Haven’t used this yet to fault locate, but the dust cap is way to sloppy to effectively protect from dust. So loose it pops off on it’s own. Will revisit review after use to fault locate.

Dropped From Top of Ladder and It Still Works Flawlessly
The Fluke Networks VISIFAULT Visual Fault Locator is a PROFESSIONAL VFL. I've purchased two other cheap "flashlight" VFLs from Amazon but they are faulty and not made for daily professional use, that is, constant switching them on/off and dropping them. Also, the Fluke VFL produces a sharp, bright, round red light without ridges like the other $25 range VFLs give you. This becomes important when you have to splice fiber and determine if the splice is good by shining the red light against a flat surface to see if the light's shape and output is the same as if you are shining the VFL straight out of the unit. The cons of this VFL is the bulkiness and no way to dangle it (I have to strap the VFL against the wall with tape or tie it down when there's no way to lay it down while I go check the other end). It's also expensive but it has lasted me over a year and I've only changed out the batteries once or twice.
