... of Possibility The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam
The Beast of Possibility The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam was actually a pretty fun build despite the many negative reviews talking about falling parts and, or course, the dreadful transformation process. To my surprise transforming was not at all an issue. Does it take some time? Yes. Do you need to be careful not to snap some parts? Yes. Is the instruction manual your friend and you should follow it when doing so? Yes. This kit is one of those that you need to pay close attention when building or else you might end up with loose parts and others that did not connect very well. For me the hardest part was opening up the chest panels as I felt that I was going to snap it at any moment. TAKE, YOUR, TIME. I can't stress this more enough. As expected there isn't much room for pose-ability which is compensated by the Destroy Mode transformation in my opinion. It also makes the kit much bigger than regular MG kits. (8 - 9 inches VS 6 - 7 on normal master grades).Decals are OK. Nothing too crazy nor to little, I believe is on point. Would definitely recommend this kit if you're already into building. As a first kit? Maybe not... And one more thing, this isn't a $10 - $20 Transformers action kit which can pull off a transformation in a few seconds so if this is what is expected from the kit maybe this is not for you. As mentioned before take your time and follow the instructions and you should be fine. One thing that I did and it helped was when I finished a section of the body I would play around and make sure it was working properly and how to transform it as well. Round up Pros: Not too expensive for its size The transformation Both Unicorn and Destroy modes are beautiful in its own way Holds its swords very well Apparently a good improvement over the old ver Ka (based on reviews that I read as I did not build the old one) Cons: The transformation. For me it was not, but I know it might be for some Some parts do tend to fall off, but nothing too crazy I guess I thought the peg that holds the shield was a bit too flimsy Magazines from the Hyper Bazooka and Beam Magnum might fall off occasionally. I might have forgotten a few things, but I hope this review and pictures helps you when choosing about this kit.

Good kit, needs patience
This was my first Master Grade, despite reading reviews advising the opposite. The build itself is in no way difficult, the instructions are very easy to read. However, I believe where a person needs to have experience is in handling the pieces themselves as you build the kit. My models right chest armor peg holes weren't big enough for the pegs to go into, and I tried forcing them in thinking it would just mold itself. After I gave up I tried to pry it apart and the armor snapped in half. Nothing a little glue couldn't fix but it was definitely a bummer. The hyper bazooka handle also either isn't molded right or mine was off, as the peg hole in the handle again wasn't reachable to the peg on the unicorns hand. After trying to force it in again, I broke the palm plastic holding the fingers on and again after some careful glue placement I was able to save his hand, and I had to shave off quite a bit from the bazooka handle for it to fit properly. The transformation is quite easy, other reviews say different but I found no difficulties transforming him. This is a model kit, and I expected delicacy when transforming him. If others were expecting it to be as easy as a $5 transformer then I can see why you would have trouble, but it's simple. I had a lot of fun building this kit, and after everything, including some paint, panel lining, and decals I spent almost 15 hours building it from start to finish in shifts of a few hours each. I highly recommend the Unicorn, and I also recommend you buy a small black like that I found here on Amazon for a few bucks to illuminate the psycoframe. I also bought a clear action base and he looks amazing on it.

Great model
First the bad; not a toy. articulation is good, but not great (elbows bend a little past 90 and legs only 90 as well as feet are hard to pose), parts are hard to keep in "destroy mode" without an action base this kit is extremely limited in poses the good; Unicorn Gundam is HUGE. standing beside my perfect grade wing gundam zero it comes up to the top half of the chest, almost shoulder height with the hyper bazooka on his back. lots of cool little features like the arm mounted beam sabers, extra clips for the beam magnum, unicorn to destroy mode transformation. in all, its a pretty amazing kit. i don't think i would pay the extra for the ms cage version, unless you use it for a base to display. and poseability is really limited without a base in my opinion. recommended for moderately experienced modelers, decals are cool but rub on decals where personally hard to get perfect being my first time using them. but after putting them on they look sweet. definitely a piece that will stand out in any collection. i dont think i would order from amazon pesonally this is the 3rd order i recieved and the second that came with a damaged box, contents ok, but still damaged. also, before committing to a purchase look at a few reviews on youtube for more info

The build itself was very fun. I wasn't expecting to be able to transform ...
The build itself was very fun. I wasn't expecting to be able to transform it from Unicorn to Destroy, so I was happily surprised by that. The detail, as usual with MGs, is great. I love the ankle joints and the head, specifically. Personally, I think Unicorn mode looks better overall, as opposed to Destroy. This is for two reasons. One, because Destroy mode's V-fin practically needs to be painted to look good. Without painting it (or settling for it looking different from the OVA), the "gold" comes from a sticker. Two, getting the transformable parts to their proper settings is hard, as you need to take the arms and legs off to properly transform it. Not only that, but the chest in particular likes to close back up for some reason. Finally, my major gripe with this kit is that the joints don't use those PC rubbery parts, they use regular plastic. This makes the kit feel weird when you move it. Specifically, the hips on mine are VERY loose and don't hold their pose very easily. Other joints feel too tight. I'm sure if you're talented you'll be able to fix it, but I'm not quite there yet. Overall, it's a great looking kit. I especially like the beam magnum's removable magazine. Highly recommended, despite goofy joints.

Most fuffiling Build Yet
This is my 3rd kit I've built. The first being a RG Freedom and the 2nd the MG Tallgeese. Going into the Unicorn I didn't expect how much hard and intricate work it would take to finish it. It took about 18 hours to build and it was the most frustrating and annoying model yet, but it was sooooo worth it. When you finally finish building the Unicorn you might feel a bit underwhelmed since it's in Unicorn mode, but when you finish the lengthy process of transforming it to destroy mode man I can't emphasize enough how impressive it looks. Its a pretty big MG compared to other models and the detail on it is superb. You will want to paint the v-fin as it just comes with a sticker, but other than that it looks great straight out the box. If you plan on adding decals do it before the transformation because once its transformed its a bit flimsy, but its expected since alot of parts move. Pros: -Enjoyable and fufilling build -Great Size -Looks great! - Transformation feature for whatever mode you like Cons: - flimsy parts during transformation, can get really annoying.

this is one of the best looking kits I now own
This was my first MG 1/100 build, after having built an assortment of HGs and RGs. As such, I found this one to be a bit difficult and time consuming. It probably took somewhere from 15-20 hours to build, spread out over a few days. That being said, this is one of the best looking kits I now own. The joints are great, the coloring is fantastic, and articulation is top-notch. I did have a bit of trouble getting some of the pieces to fit together, and the transformation takes a while, as you have to basically have to separate the legs, arms, and head from the torso. Overall, this is a very good kit and one that I enjoyed building quite a lot.

Unicorn ver. ova is an amazing master grade kit
Unicorn ver. ova is an amazing master grade kit. Assembling it was very interesting. The design allows for a smooth but complex transformation from unicorn to destroy mode. It has a good ammount of accessories, markings and poses well without a stand. It looks great with its red psychoframe exposed and equally impressive in its all-white unicorn mode. All weapons can be stored on the kit and have features like extendable barrel, scope and removable ammo packs. Two beam sabers can connect to deployable hilts in the unicorn forearms for more dynamic posing options. It comes with 3 v fins (one solid white, one fixed and one transformable v fin). The instructions are easy to understand and the box art is incredible. The mg unicorn ver. ova is gunpla that delivers on every level.

Nice
Absolutely amazing, however, some parts are fragile are easy to break. It has good movability, but not as good as the PG version (Kinda obvious). The decals are not that good, I do recommend the Ver.Ka decals for this instead.
