FABULOUS Addition to My World
Two years ago for Christmas, my husband gave me the Kodak EasyShare Photo Printer. I absolutely love it. (FYI - You don't have to have a Kodak camera to use this printer. I have a Fuji.) My first big print was photo Christmas cards. I took a fun, casual photo of the kids that I liked better than anything I'd ever had done at a store's photography studio. I could print out as many photo cards as I wanted, and the cost was much, much less than what it would have cost me for "professional" Christmas cards. I made my own Christmas photo again this year! For time purposes alone, it saves me time spent running to & from the store every time I take some photos. (Which is often.) Not to mention the considerable amount of time I used to spend standing in line. For convenience sake, it's a no-brainer. For example, I was putting together a portfolio for a last-minute homeschool evaluation and needed a photo or two to highlight my daughter's progress. All I had to do was turn on my EasyShare printer and press "print." I'm getting ready to put together a photo display for my son's wedding. How nice to browse through my collection of photos, scan the older non-digital ones I want and print them as I need them, or just simply press "print" from my more recent digital collection. No matter when I need a photo, I have the ability to print it immediately. The quality is wonderful, and fun to watch as it prints out first the yellow, then layers the blue, then the red. The cartridges and the paper are matched so that when you've printed 40 photos, it's time for a new cartridge. You always have enough paper for the cartridges; you always have enough cartridges for the paper. After about a year of use, the printer started having trouble grabbing the photo paper. I contacted Kodak; they gave me instructions on how to clean the printer. My husband cleaned the printer as per instructions, and it's been working perfectly once again. I always buy the PH160 count cartridge w/paper for my printer. First of all, because it's LOTS cheaper than the 40 or 80 count. Secondly, I do a lot of scrapbooking, and I use lots of photos. Buying the Kodak PH160 cartridges w/paper from Amazon saves me big bucks. Amazon usually has it for much less than retail. I've checked. And if you keep an eye on it, Amazon will frequently sell it for MUCH less than retail. Since this item's cost is over $25, there's no shipping. And, there's no sales tax. I guess over the course of owning the printer, I've spent, on average, about 25 cents per photo. I print what I want, when I want it. A great deal!!

Kodak Printer Dock paper & Ink multi package(s)
I have purchased this item for my father n law for a present and find that it is extremely top quality paper as well as comes with the ink cartridges required to print off the pictures and all items are contained within the box for easy use. Each othe packages of paper are contained within individual plastic protective wrap so yu only need to open one package at a time, which can be found in my oppinion to work out perfectly. My father n law really liked the printer dock that I bought him and now is hooked on buying this paper and ink, he is over 70 yrs old and he is not computer literate, so this works out perfect for his camera printing use, as he does not use a computer at all. I find that the amount of paper and ink will last my father in law long enough to print out all of the pictures stored within his camera and make him happy. The ink cartidge and paper is extremely simply to enstall into his printing dock and the package arrived rather quickly. As it stated on the box, this item contained 160 sheets of 4x6" kodak paper (snap off ends) and 4 individual wrapped ink cartridges, I would advise anyone that is ordering paper and cartirsdges for the first time to call in and double check the type of package that your dock requires before purchasing any printer dock paper & ink supplies to ensure you get the correct supplies as I did, customer care was extremely helpful when I did call and asked me for my printer model numbers to ensure that I ordered correctly.

It does the job, so what more could you ask for?
This is obviously made to work with Kodak-branded printer docks and camera docks, so don't buy this paper package if you don't own one or the other. That being said, I STRONGLY recommend getting this 160 package instead of the smaller packages because A) it ends up being MUCH cheaper when you consider how many more pieces of photo paper and ink you get, and B) even if you don't print a lot, you'll use them all up sooner or later. It's not like they expire, right? And considering you get free shipping and no sales tax if you order it from Amazon, than the several-dollars-cheaper-than-Best-Buy price sounds even sweeter!

Kodak printer dock and paper
A good value, and very good prints. I've purchased the 40 sheet packages before and been quite pleased. Yes, the cartridges may run out, but it depends on the prints. If it occurs within several prints, well, you should see how it goes with regular photo-processing! I used to get about 3/4 of the manufacturer's expected quantities and had to eat the difference, despite the high level QC. These prints, from a 6000 printer dock, are spot-on and worth the expense for the convenience. We're speaking about snapshots here. I had expectations for something mediocre and was pleasantly surprised. I wish I could say the same for the EasyShare software. It IS mediocre, and troublesome. I mostly print from the camera. Good alternatives exist, fortunately. There should be more more user control over installation and definitions. I think Kodak has created a decent product overall and I will buy from them again, for cameras, printers, and paper.

Very upset with my purchase.
I have loved my camera and docking station since I got it. Sadly, none of the stores carry the paper and printer cartridge refills anymore, which is why I ordered it from Amazon.com. I have opened two of the three cartridges, and they are both bad. I am only getting half of a picture printed out. This means the paper is getting wasted, and it's not cheap, and if I want my photos printed, I now have to pay to have prints made somewhere else, so I've paid twice ! I am not happy with is at all !

Kodak color cartridge and paper for Easy Share photo printer
The Kodak color cartridge and paper for Easy Share Photo Printer which I purchased is a great product and a great bargain. The convenience of being able to make my own prints on my Kodak Easy Share Photo Printer is perfect for me. I take lots of digital prints and sometimes I want to make prints that I can immediately share with my friends and family. Even though the cost of each print may be a little higher than you would pay at a drugstore or online printing service, the results are much better. Since I love to take pictures and I enjoy enhancing them and printing them myself, this is the perfect product for me. You can enhance your photographs on your computer and then print them on the Kodak Easy Share Photo Printer. The quality of the prints on the Kodak thermal print system is absolutely incredible. Everyone that I have share prints with remarks how great the photos look. All in all, the Kodak PH160 Color Cartridge & Photo Paper Kit has been a great deal for me.

ink runs out too fast
The ink runs out before the 40 sheets are used. Usually it only runs out at 38 or 39 but a couple times now I've had it run out at 30! I have like 20 extra sheets now and I've never found a place where you can buy just the ink so I just have extra paper and no way to use them. The quality of the printed pictures is good though. The convenience of printing my own pictures at home is nice as well but with the ink running out too quickly the cost of each picture goes up quite a bit. Amazon was very good to work with on this problem though.

Amazon does it again!
Kodak PH160 Media Cartridge for Kodak EasyShare Printer Docks This item is no longer available in local stores. I checked Amazon and they had it (it seems like they always do). I went through the first box quicker than I thought I would and ordered a second. It's a great price and the product works just like it's supposed to. I was originally afraid anything I found would be "old" and the color wouldn't be good or something would be wrong and I wouldn't be happy with the pictures - but the pictures are beautiful and I am very happy. Because of this I can wait a little longer before I replace my camera. :)
