Q: How do I get the smell and taste out of these sheets and stainless steel dehydrator after making a batch of curry chicken jerky. Any suggestions?

Make a paste ofBalking soda and water. Spread all over the sheet and let set for an hour or so. Rinse off and repeat in again if needed. If that doesn't work place in the sink with water and bleach solution. This works for me every time. Best of luck.

I have a set at home. They're solid. I believe they are a mesh of fiberglass sandwiched within a layer of flexible silicon.

Q: I'm confused. i just bought my excalibur dehydrator and i'm trying to figure out, "which re-usable silicone sheets are the easiest to use?"

This type of silicone sheet are not the best... I will buy the other which is a bit more expensive of better quality.

Q: What side do I put the food on or does it matter?

I usually put my food on the Excalibur side only because i took a raw food class and the instructor put the food on that side.
