California Costumes Women's Snow White Costume

Perfect costume for the price! Disclaimer: this is the usual polyester, costume material. But, it is better than expected. The skirt is quite long (down to my ankles, I'm 5'6"). The Large is a 10-12, XL is 12-14. Knowning that (and being a pretty solid 12), I might have up-sized from the Large. However, the bodice is pretty stretchy. The shoulders are quite bare - you can't see it in the picture, but the gown pretty much is off-the-shoulder, with the top of your back/shoulders showing. Either plan to wear a strapless bra, or some type of cami or something underneath. As other reviews mentioned, the skirt is thin and you'll need a layer underneath (unless you're a different kind of princess). The big white collar is a separate piece with Velcro to attach. It doesn't always stand up but still looks pretty decent. It comes with a red ribbon, which I didn't use. With this dress and a Snow White wig (and bright red lipstick), it's a pretty easy and modest mommy costume. I wore it to my kids' grade school Halloween parties and all the kids loved it! Plan on lots of ironing to get the wrinkles out of the skirt when it arrives, too!

I absolutely LOVE this costume!!! I received compliments all day! So many people told me I looked just like her and that I look like I work at Disney world! This is the most comfortable costume I think I've every worn. I am 5'7 and weigh 140. I meant to order a medium but I accidentally ordered a small. I wasn't even going to try it on because I assumed it would be too small, but I went ahead and tried it on. It fit perfectly!!!!!! The material is durable. The sleeves the bodice are a stretchy velvet material, so it fit nice and snug. The length is about ankle length so it was perfect with my flats. The only thing I kept having to mess with was the collar because it wouldn't stay standing up. If you are creative, you could figure it out! However, it still looked cute without it standing up. Also, you need to wear a long slip under it. Otherwise, it's see through in the light. I highly recommend this costume!

I wanted a traditional Snow White costume, not a slutty/sexy one, to turn into Zombie Snow White. This did the job perfectly. The costume itself, arrived quickly and when it was expected. As far as the way it fit. it fit ok, but it was a tad loose. It was kinda wide. I made it work, but if you are any smaller than me (I am 5'6, 118 lbs., slender, and not too much in the booty and boobs department!lol), you might consider going with the size Extra Small. I ordered a size small for my self. It was the perfect length. As I said before, I turned this into Zombie Snow White, and both nights that I wore it, I was a huge hit!! The first time I wore it was for the local Zombie Walk, I won!! I am "Las Cruces, NM Zombie Queen 2014"!! There was a long line to take pictures with me and everything! I was even on the front page of the news paper! The second time I wore it was to a local night club and I stole the show there too! I used a hot glue gun to keep the white collar attached. I shredded the skirt, got it dirty, and added my own home made fake blood. Then I used the hot glue gun again, to add some fake spiders for the finishing touch. The ribbon I got with this costume was kind of a joke, so I went to Walmart and spent $2 and got a little spool of red ribbon. I tied a long piece around my head and after I got the bow just right, I trimmed the ends and added fake blood to it too. I did all the make up and stuff myself too. The fake wounds are tissue paper and glue, with make up and fake blood. I did not use a wig, as I already have the perfect hair for this look. Also the yellow skirt is see through. I wore a poofy white cotton skirt underneath it. I'll be sure to include pictures.

Absolutely amazing costume! I've paid 3 times this much for a costume that was not as good as this. The blue part is all velvet. The whole thing was a wrinkled mess when I got it, but I steamed it out and it was great. The collar stood up nicely for me. I am 5'2 and 150 pounds (size 12-14) and the Large fit perfectly with a little stretch room. I love that it has a full back, no buttons or Velcro. it hit the floor just right, but the skirt is very thin and needs a slip. The headband is just a piece of red ribbon but I tied it nicely and used bobby pins to keep it secure and it did the job just fine. I got TONS of compliments while wearing this and my daughters just loved it. Overall, I am completely satisfied.

So…..the costume. The reviews on this were pretty good and I liked the price point, so I bought it. You definitely get what you pay for. Don’t get me wrong, the costume is adequate and is good for the price. But, there were some problems. I wish I had taken a before and after photo to attach to this post. First of all, I’m 5’3 and 100 lbs. The smallest size I could get was a small (4-6). Let me tell you—. I wear a size 0 and this costume, fortunately for me, fit like a zero. I’m not sure how someone that is a size 6 could wear this. While it is stretchy, the biggest problem for someone bigger would be the elastic at the biceps. It’s pretty tight on me and I have stick arms. As far as length, it definitely needed hemmed, but I’m short. That wasn’t my biggest problem, though. The yellow stripes at the sleeves were literally dangling because they were bigger than the sleeves. It looked ridiculous! Luckily, I have a friend that sews and she was able to cut them and reattach them properly. It looks much better now. She also had to tack the collar so that it stood up like it’s supposed to. Plus, there were strings hanging from all over the costume that needed trimmed off. Overall, if you want a cheap costume, this will do. It does have a flattering cut, even for someone like me with small boobs. However, from now on, I’m just spending the money on a quality one that hopefully won’t have to be remade.

Y'all, I NEVER leave product reviews, but due to the volume of compliments I got wearing this costume I felt I had to make an exception. This costume was comfortable, adorable, and the collar stood up perfectly! The skirt, as others have mentioned, is rather sheer so be sure to wear appropriate underthings (meaning no colors or patterns). I wore white tights but you can go one better and do white tights under white leggings, if the weather is cold where you live. Anyway, white tights and some black ballet flats were all I needed to add. The ribbon provided for the hair is fine, but I already owned a red headband so I used it instead. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this costume and highly recommend it. It even fits slightly looser than necessary, so you can go down a size if you're on the fence. I am 5'4" and usually wear a 8/10 in dresses so got the medium...I think I could've gotten the small and it would've been even better, but honestly it was just fine. This dress is EASILY worth double the $18 I paid for it. Buy it, you won't regret it. :) Hope you enjoy your Snow White moment!

Bought this I wear for my daughters princess birthday party and was really impressed with how high quality it was for such a low price! Most adult princess costumes I found were either inappropriate for a child's party or were very expensive to just wear for a few hours. The bottom of this dress is a little thin, so I would recommend wearing a slip... Easy fix! It is on the long side, but I am 5'2" and was able to wear it with small heels and it worked fine. Does seem to run a little large too, so maybe consider ordering a smaller size. The head band isn't really a headband either - it is just a piece of red ribbon to be tied around your head. I found it hard to get to look right, so I just wore a different red headband instead. Overall I was really pleased with the costume and would recommend it to anyone!

El disfraz es bueno para el costo. Cons: En algunas partes se pueden notar costuras mal hechas pero nada que afecte, la tela de la falda es delgada y se transparenta. This was an amazing costume, I am glad I read the reviews and decided to purchase it. It was adorable in person, and everyone I walked by me and absolutely loved this costume. Fits very well! I wore this all day and it never became uncomfortable. Nothing itchy about it. The red cape was bought separately in the picture I have posted. It did come with a red hair ribbon.

The dress was for a costume party but was super stained and smelled bad. Someone wore it and sent it back like that and it was sent to me in a bad state.

I was worried after reading many reviews about the sizing of this costume. Some said it fit large, while others said it fit to size. I normally take size 10-12 in pants, and the large fit perfectly. I am 5'7, 160lbs. The length of the dress is right to my ankles, flat shoes are my preference and they will be perfect. I only gave 4 stars because the costume is extremely wrinkled right out of the bag, it will definitely need an iron. Also, the 'hair band' is just a piece of red ribbon. Yes, the bottom is a bit see-through, so I'll wear a slip, it's not a big deal.
