Great, basic rain protection. Size was spot on. Construction feels solid and well made. The textured material repels rain perfectly and after wearing this in a few downpours now I can absolutely attest to the fact that it's rainproof not rain resistant. This jacket folds to almost nothing which makes it perfect for packing. I'd size up if you want to wear it over a heavy layer like a thick sweater.

I layered and then put this in top so I was comfortably warm and completely dry. The only issue I had was with the hood, I couldn't keep it on my head due to wind. I don't fault the jacket though, I have always had the same issue with jacket and coat hoods. I am a plus size woman with ample beasts and this jacket fit perfectly. I ordered the 3XL and because it is a men's cut, it doesn't have extra space for breasts. I would size up if you want or need extra space. The jacket came with a carrying pouch that I promptly misplaced after I opened it, but the jacket is lightweight enough that I was able to toss it in my mini backpack that I carried the entire trip.
