Stren High Impact Monofilament Fishing Line

I use this line primary for leader line, i hooked up 30lbs of weight to it just to verify strength and it broke right at the 30lbs of weight. great, sturdy, line u cant go wrong for the price.

I don't know about it being used as a fishing line, but using it for temporary commercial real estate use and some basic indoor use it's great. Only wish is that they had some way to hold the line in place after and during use.

Used as deer deterrent. Worked for my yard! I wanted something that would deter the deer, but should one jump the "fence", they are able to break out again if they panic (didn't want it unbreakable). I used it to add 3 feet to an existing 3 foot fence without blocking the view. Its barely visible unless up close or the light refracting just right. So you can see it from afar, but only looking closely for it.

This line has spool memory pretty bad, or at least the 2 spools I got did & I'm not used to seeing that in Stren products over the years. Maybe because this has sat on a shelf somewhere for longer than needed? Either way, it loaded onto the spool just fine once I placed the spool into a bucket of hot water, this is the way to load a spool of line that never fails for me & it relaxes the line perfectly.

This string is the real deal. It is very strong and I have no problem landing 30-40 lb sharks with it, fighting the whole way. It is also extremely tangle-resistant and feeds and reels without issue. I highly recommend.

I used for hanging heavy wind chimes. Worked great and was able to hold Knot and keep the metal chime attached. I will not be using for fishing.

I bought this fishing line to use around fence posts of our vegetable garden. The fence is only 4 feet high. So to keep the deer out, we string two levels of this fishing line around the corner posts (which are 6' tall). The deer can't see it, but when they stick their heads over the edge, their nose hits the fishing line and it scares them away. We haven't had trouble with deer for the past 2 years as a result of this trick (told to us by a Home Depot employee).

My wife uses this to hang her decoration and it stands up well in the weather and wind.

Bought 300 yards of 30lbs for offshore fishing in Quinte Bay. Handles hard stretches like a 45lbs did not snap paired with a daiwa troller and an ugly stik catfish rod. Later changed to braided lines worked also good as backing. Will buy again.
