Fantastic Microscope for Hobbyist
I do some electrical work here and there on circuit boards and wanted a microscope that I could move around. These really fits the bill with an extremely heavy base and mobile armature. With 45x magnification this easily fulfills what I need it to do which is finding breaks in solder joints on circuit boards. This doesn't break the bank and will work for a lifetime with solid construction. I'm very grateful that I came across this and have been putting it to a lot of use. I do recommend purchasing the collar light that is sold separately. Room illumination is sometimes adequate, but mostly not.

Very good, but very heavy
This binocular microscope is very good and probably overkill for my needs. The unit itself is very heavy with a solid base and counterbalance to keep the viewer stable. It is easy to focus and the ambient light is bright enough without overpowering the viewing.
