Absolute trash. This eKit sounded ok for about a month. After a few months of weekly practice sessions the kick drum quit working. A couple months after that the HiHat pedal is not working. I wasn’t expecting the greatest product when I ordered it but for $800 you would think you’d get a lot more bang for your buck. So now my band is back to suffering thru my acoustic. I do have an Efnote (a real eKit) but that stays in my studio for home practice. I would not recommend this company. Got absolutely no where with customer support.

For the price, it’s great. The pedal SUCKS and there is nothing good I can say about it, but I love the rest of the kit.

My wife recently started to play with drums and I wanted to get us a kit that was quieter for our space as to not disturb our dogs. I've played drums for years so I had high standards and wanted to consider one of the kits that I'd tried by Yamaha and Roland, but the price point and apparent quality on these made them an amazing value. I was really impressed by how easy to assemble they were. The head unit locks nicely into place on the mounts and the cables are integrated into the tubing. We were able to test another kick pad we had from Yamaha with and can confirm it will work with some other pads. This kit sounds amazing. You get a great EQ and plenty of kits to play with and mix and match. You can control the volumes and tones of each individual drum pad. It was really intuitive for someone coming off an acoustic kit, and it was incredibly fun to play for both us. I gave it some good runs with some punk and d-beat grooves and it handled it nicely. Even with my double pedal attached, I don't expect it will have any durability issues. Overall, if you're looking for a good starting setup for someone who needs better control over their playing volume or just more creative freedom, this is an amazing setup.

This drum set is okay but very limited with sounds, also I don't like how the drum pad mounts don't stay in place no matter how hard you try and secure them to their mounts they continually slip and move downward on the mounts when playing so you have to constantly keep repositioning them back into the position you first had them. Also the sounds of the cymbals are good enough however you don't always get a sound when you strike the cymbal pad. I find that very annoying. The hi hat response is not good and is also inconsistent in when struck. Overall it's okay if you are not a serious drummer and just play for the personal joy of it. If you are a more serious drummer you are not going to want to buy this. The performance and response are not what you will be happy with.

If I could give them a half star I would...When I originally received the kit that was meticulous that's how I set it up. Once it was set up I ran it through in Alesis 2000 watt drum amp. To be honest the sound wasn't bad but don't expect it to sound like an acoustic kit. However 10 minutes into playing the second and third Tom stopped working all together. Even though I hadn't had time yet to mess with the module I reset it to factory settings hoping that would do the trick but it didn't... Now I'm faced with a task of packing this thing back up in returning it to a UPS store because I can't just drop it off at Kohl's... Not impressed with Donner at all.
