These finials are beautiful!!! I didn't pay close attention to the description of the size so I was surprised when they arrived, they are about the size of a baseball! I love them and will definitely order more. I ordered them in gold tone and they are a nice shade, not tacky gold color. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Large Crystal Finial
Beautiful and large. They would be five stars if they had a sharpened end on the screw. The screw end is flat, which made it not go into the rod as easily.

Larger format, well-executed
This is a nice finial, which I was intending to coordinate with smaller fluted "crystal" finials purchased long ago. (For some reason, I just like glass finials, esp. because I have a set of lamps w/a similar fluted crystal globe motif.) I planned to use these larger ones with heavier 1" tension rods for larger windows in my house and use the smaller, older ones in smaller rooms with smaller windows. These are the larger, classic size that I used to see in homes when I was a kid. I ordered the version with the gold stem; the round end of it appeared silver in the image, but it's actually clear, made of the same "crystal" as the globe, not metallic. That was a nice surprise, as I liked that all-clear version better than if it were metallic. In the end, I had to ask myself if these looked old-fashioned. Not sure why. Was it the size? The "netting" motif? My memories of large finials? I decided, if I had to ask, that was the answer in itself. I found enough acrylic finials in the smaller fluted format elsewhere to complete the decorating project for the house and returned these. I'd recommend them, though, as a quality product.

Very pretty. My husband had to rig the way they attached only cuz we use a metal rod instead of real curtain rod . Great for the price .
