Very nice product. I am happy with this although it doesn't hold 40lbs but about 32lbs. But that is ok.

I like this container and I'll be keeping it. However it does not hold 40 pounds of kibble and you should remove that from the description. It only held about 25lbs. You did also list it as 38qts, which does look right, I didn't actual check. But you listed it as 40lbs!! Why do I have to figure out the volume of 38qts! Size matters! Pictures show 34lb bag of kibble and how much was left after filling the container. I would have bought a larger one of you sold them and labeled it right. This is a nicely made container, I like it, my wife likes the color and called it cute! but size matters.... Now I must keep it, it's cute.

It does hold anywhere near 40 lbs of dog food. I could only fit half of a 30 lb bag in it.

This is a beautiful can with a great lock on it, tho I know it still won't deter raccoons, so I decided to keep it inside.-- it's that pretty! But it was stated to hold 40 pounds of dog food. No idea where they got that but it only holds 20 pounds of sunflower seed, which of course is much less in volume than 40 of dog food. I really resent being lied to in these ads. As a home shopper I rely on the info in the ads to be correct ... It is NOT! I'm trying to see how to contact the seller, but don't see a way and decided this might be the best way. Love the can, really don't want the hassle of returning it but no way does it hold a volume of 40 pounds of any kind of dry pet food.

I do love this container, I actually bought two. However the second one that I received did not close correctly. The hook closure did not match up, it was off center. I requested a replacement but was told they were out of stock. Company was nice enough to offer me a full refund. Great company!
