The Ukulele is beautiful and sounds wonderful. Everything arrived except for the DVD and polish cloth, so why am I giving it 5 starts? Because I contacted the company and they immediately sent me the missing items. Thank you!

Getting the uke tuned the first time was a challenge even with the tuner, but the instructions made it simpler. The online tuning instructions were almost useless because the audio was so low I had to stream it to my stereo and crank the volume up far too high. (Really neat tuning app, though.) Incidentally, the instructional DVD is online, not a physical DVD. Finally, if this came with strings, they must have meant the ones that were on the uke. All negative comments aside, I found this bundle to be well worth the money. The uke is well-made and has a decent finish. The tone is good and the uke fits snugly in the hard-shell case I bought for it. I believe it's equal or superior to any of the other ukes I had considered. Sure, a Martin would have been nice, but for my needs, I couldn't justify spending more that I did. I was tempted to give this bundle five stars, but it wasn't quite that perfect.

so this ukulele is a soprano, meaning that it's the smallest kind you can buy. In order to keep the neck proportional they probably had to dock the amount of frets, but that's fine. That's my only complaint. The wood is beautiful and it sounds extremely pretty. SOME TIPS - stretch your strings to season them and keep your ukulele tuned for longer. Stretch them out gently and then use the tuner to get them back to the correct note. - again, this is a soprano, so the finger-space is pretty small. Maybe an inch a lil bit. if you have larger fingers this could be kinda hard to play, but I'm able to do it with my german fingers so you can too. - Google any song + Ukulele chords and look in images. Most likely you'll have a load of options. - Try memorizing what each white dot is and the fret numbers are. the first dot is the 5th, so the one above it is the 4th. Two above is the 3rd. etc. This'll help in fingerstyle/plucking songs. That's it. I enjoy my ukulele.

This Uke sounds great. All the extras- tuner, carry bag, DVD, were nice too. My only worry is if I need to replace a string- it would probably need to be done at my local guitar shop since there's no pegs.

I bought it more than year ago and I am still happy with my purchase. It keeps tune rather long time. Looks really nice.

This ukulele is beautifully made, and makes good sounds. The tuner works fine, and also comes with a battery. What a nice touch!

I am in complete love with this Uke! The ease of playing is amazing, it's an overall great quality instrument. The colour and lack of binding make it stunning as well. Good job Kala! I received it on time with 2 day shipping through Amazon, but it wasn't packaged very well at all. I would have liked to see it handled with a little more care.
