My favorite author and my favorite book...this is small yet powerful book by Bill..

Apart from the Bible, this is the book I am most thankful for. Growing up in Baptist church, serving there, teachings I was exposed to in Seminary... the power of the Holy Spirit was "I suppose it happens but don't live expecting it." This book absolutely changed my life. It is a powerful, revelatory, no hype, and no compromise book on how EVERY follower of Jesus can and must walk in supernatural power. The miraculous lifestyle seems most "logical" and "reasonable" after reading this. And all this comes from a man of integrity, humility, wisdom, generosity, and honor. I cannot count how many copies of this book I have given away to people. Some read it right away, others leave it lying around for months before they eventually pick it up. But every single one of them report back, "This book has changed my thinking and my life regarding the miraculous lifestyle." I wish every Christian could read this, and I believe every church leader must read it. You'll never be the same again.

A beautiful book for those who are seeking the truth. To understand what Jesus actually meant by, "let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven"

I couldn’t put this book down even when falling asleep. It’s truly Heaven on Earth. I have not finished it but I’ll tell to go buy this book. And see GOD using you in a great way. Your faith lifts up. You may regret why you didn’t have this all your life. Your have it now start from there and change the community and the world

This book has reminded me of truths I had known but ceased acting on and has challenged me to cry out for more. I should probably read it annually.

I've been so wrong about Bill Johnson, and this is the reason for my repentant title. I'm an ex new ager (10 years removed, love King Jesus, been a missionary, charismatic, walked in miracles)I saw the grave soaking sound bites and have kept Bill Johnson and Bethel at arms length. The Lord led me to start school for a Christian counseling major where this book was my textbook. This book is now in my top 3 of personally suggested Christian reading material. I was so wrong about Bill. He has such a beautiful passion for God, and such a way of speaking that oozes with the love and power of the Father. EVERY PAGE of this book has multiple highlights on it, not for school notes, but for personal Holy Spirit notes, revelation and gold nuggets of wisdom. I have my Amazon cart full of paper copies that I want to buy just to hand them out to believing friends. I also implore skeptics to know that there are times you may not agree with a sentence or paragraph in one chapter, but if you stick with the whole book, Bill humbly attaches an explanation or a reference note later that explains his thinking. Any time i may not have completely agreed with something he said, he brought humility and clarity to his stances later on. READ THE WHOLE BOOK before you make ANY judgements on Bill or his character. This man is a blessed servant of the Most High. My life has definitely been changed and impacted through reading this book and I am eternally grateful for the wisdom written in these pages.
