As an electrician, I end up with piles of scrap wire from remodels and new construction jobs. I've used it on everything from wiring in old houses to cables for factories, and it hasn't missed a beat. It even does a better job with some of the harder insulation materials than equipment that cost twice as much. It's also quite quiet for something so strong, and it doesn't shake too much, so you can use it for a long time without becoming tired. The small size is great, especially in a small workshop.
