40 inch SmartLink Plug Aerator- Black

Missing parts, plastic bearings

It's been freezing temperatures ever since I received this aerator, so I never really had the chance to check it out until today. It was pretty simple to assemble by myself. I just hooked it to the back of my zero turn mower and pulled it around for a couple of laps. It definitely needs some more weight to it before I start using it in the spring. I'll have to get it set up with some cinder blocks to help hold it down. It's a good little aerator though, it's just the right width. I love that it has the plug fingers instead of the spikes. These fingers will actually pull plugs of the yard out and leave a bunch of little divots, instead of just poking holes in the ground like the spike aerators do. It maneuvers really well, being so small and nimble. It is going to work really nicely, once I get that extra weight on it! It does seem to be well made, like it should make a good one for several years as long as it is well taken care of. In my opinion the asking price for this unit is really fair and reasonable! I would absolutely recommend this product to my friends and family!!

The Gabasinover 40-inch SmartLink Plug Aerator for tow-behind and pull-behind lawn tractors (compatible with 45-0518 and 45-0474 models) is a reliable and effective tool that noticeably improved the health of my lawn. From the first pass, it delivered consistent core aeration, breaking up compacted soil and allowing better water and nutrient penetration. The 40-inch width is a sweet spot — wide enough to cover turf efficiently without being unwieldy for a standard garden tractor. Assembly was straightforward, with clear instructions and solid hardware. The SmartLink compatibility with both the 45-0518 tow-behind and 45-0474 pull-behind systems meant I didn’t need adapters or additional modifications — a real convenience that saved time. During operation, it tracked well behind my tractor and handled uneven terrain without bouncing or clogging. The only areas that kept this from a perfect five stars were a couple of minor fit-and-finish issues (bolt holes that could be more precisely aligned) and slightly heavier weight than expected, which made lifting it onto the tractor a bit of a two-person task. Once attached, though, performance was smooth and dependable. Overall, the Gabasinover SmartLink Plug Aerator is a strong choice for homeowners and lawn care enthusiasts ready to invest in healthier turf. It’s effective, compatible, and built to last — just be prepared for a bit of muscle during setup.
