Chen Rui for Beginners
Ideas for starter coloring peepz, watch a tutorial for blending and using the alcohol markers first. I know it's common sense but do not please, put an unfair review just because you do not know how to use alcohol markers. Draw big! Mine is an A6 sketchpad for practice but if you can draw big, the better the coloring as the color spreads a bit when you lay them on the paper. So, here goes the review: I'm not sure if it's just a skill issue or what haha but sometimes the Chen Rui alcohol markers create a line around the color when you layer them with the same color, I hope it makes sense haha. So, my take about the Chen Rui markers is that they are great, but I would not be able to compare them to any other markers because I only own the Chen Rui, but for my skill set, which is not that great, they are acceptable to use. I do not know if I will improve but I will strive to, it's just that one needs more control of the hands when using alcohol markers. I used a 300 gsm watercolor paper and they do not bleed through. Usually, it's just a paper issue for the bleed through so if you don't want that, choose 300 gsm paper. Blendability does not impress me that much but then again maybe it's a skill issue haha! I'll try to learn more about the alcohol markers as I use them. They dry pretty quickly too so don't worry about it smudging. Other than that, I do not know what else to say. Overall great stuff. Oh right, I do not like the smell of the markers but maybe it's just my nose haha. The colors are okay but for a 120 set I expected some colors that will let you blend more easily but that is not the case. If you're a beginner in alcohol markers, like myself, I recommend Chen Rui for budget coloring but great in quality. I give it five stars. The caps and the markers itself is durable enough and they seal very well.

Amazing
These are super good just like the ohuhu markers but at a way better price. I did get a double of the same colour for one colour pen but everything else was fine. They blend amazing but not as good as how ohuhu blends but still good. Overall would buy again

Sadly not for me
What can I say. Hmm! Sadly I don’t like these alcohol markers they leave way too many streaks and flood the page with ink. I was expecting more from the reviews. I have allot of different markers top brands and lower but I really don’t like these at all. Some cheaper brands are way better. So disappointing colours are ok though

Amazing marker pens
Excellent marker pens , a close second to uhuhu . Smooth with no visible lines and brilliant colours

Only OK
Good selection of colours. When colouring a larger area the colour appears streaky and they don't blend well. Ok for basic colouring (kids) but not adult artworks.

Very good
Really good dupe for ohuhu

Pens
Some of the pens didn’t work, they do leak through the paper, but that isn’t an issue as I was aware of this,
