No reception gain
There was zero gain on router when plugged in on a speed test. Returned as faulty or useless.

Unfortunately this never improved anything for me so was a waste of time, had to return.

Fitted okay to my router
At around £30 this is relatively expensive for an antenna and the value really comes whether it is sufficiently weatherproof for long term outdoor use. That is quite hard to tell so far. I have screwed this to an outside wall and there is a marginal improvement in speed on my 5G router so I'm pleased about that but it isn't as dramatic as I had hoped for. Unfortunately I don't have really good line of sight to the nearest mast which is the reason for needing an outdoor antenna in the first place. Possibly it could function better if it were on the chimney stack but that isn't a DIY task I can undertake myself so I haven't been able to test that. Overall the unit seems well made and fitted okay to my router's external antenna sockets.
