The kit seems well-made and durable, as well as easy to use. One small issue I had is the largest disc adapter (81mm) was a little too small to install the inner bearing race when I was replacing the wheel bearings on my 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser. I had to cut the old bearing brace and stick it on the end of the 81mm adapter to install the new inner race. Keep this in mind if buying this kit to do work on a Land Cruiser or similar sized vehicle. I'm not subtracting a star because of this, if you need a larger adapter consider a different kit. This one was affordable and ended up working out for the wheel bearing job.

This is one of those tool kits that every person who is a "weekend wrencher" should have in their arsenal. You have no idea how easy a kit like this makes putting in new races/bearings/wheel seals until you have the proper set like this in your toolbox of obscurity. With the combination of a slide hammer and bearing removal tool rented from the local parts store, I had new bearings and wheel seals tapped in just like from the factory in a 20 year old Ford Ranger in minutes. It comes in nice little case with all the right sizes and they can be flipped around to fit pretty much anything. The drivers are nice soft billet aluminum and the punch didn't seem to mushroom all that much after a few minutes of pounding when installing my new bearings in my 20+ year old truck with leaky wheel seals. If you are leery of using old sockets or leftover pieces of 2x4's from last summers deck build, do it the proper way and get this kit. You will not be disappointed! 10/10.

I got this to install new races into my Shorelander boat trailer. The hub takes Timken Set 17 and Set 4 size bearings/races and I had a little difficulty with the larger race. The size 50mm driver fits perfectly within the Set 4 size (L44610) and installed without much trouble. The locking screw/bolt did come loose initially and I had to get a wrench to snug it down. The Set 17 race (L68111) was a little more interesting. The next step up (59mm) driver did not fit within the race properly to use as intended. I had to turn the 59mm driver around and used the seal side to carefully pound the race into the hub. However, the 59mm doesn’t seat the race all the way into the hub. I ended up using the old race and then the driver to finish the final 1/10”. Overall, its good value and made the job go easier.

This is the first time I have used a tool like this, well did my first races and seals, so much easier! Why spend money for high dollar tools when this is available at a third of the cost.

Installed the races and seal in my trailer hub fast and easy. I also like that the case is blue, it helps it stand out in my sea of black tool cases. And the case is the perfect size, no wasted space, which makes it quite small and does not take up unnecessary room on the tool shelf.

The use of this tool made race insertion in my recent bearing replacement chore not only a joy, but I finished with the knowledge that the races were installed perfectly correctly. Since I do not do this type of work very often, I want a tried and proven method for this task; this tool is THE best insurance for a successful outcome.

Works and easy to use but the material is aluminum, when you hit it with a hammer it dents the handle and pieces so it might not last long getting smashed up! If it was metal I’d give it 5 stars!

This is a brilliant tool for blind bearing removal and install, I had to buy some 10mm studding for my particular job but the drifts are made off alloy but very precise, good range of sizes.

I found this tool impressive. Used it to instal the races in the hubs of a Landrover Defender, which I have struggled with in the past using a punch and hammer. Providing you take care to ensure the race is aligned in the workpiece by gently tapping the disc to initially locate it, the rest of the process is straightforward. One other reviewer has posted photos of the tool with the head damaged by excessive hammering, which is simply not necessary if the correct size of race has been selected and the workpiece prepared. The tool had been abused. I used the second largest inserter for the Defender hubs and everything is unmarked on completion. Wish I had come across this tool years ago - would have saved a lot of time and frustration.
