desertcart.com: 2 Pack Building Brick Watch with Custom Dial, DIY Wristwatch Compatible with Lego Bricks, Adjustable Silicone Strap, Creative DIY Wristwatch Gift for Lego Brick Lovers (Black and White) : Toys & Games Review: Great idea, very fun, but be aware- part of this item is 3D printed. But it's a high quality print! - Full Disclosure: I received this as part of the desertcart Vine program for review. I have recently gotten way more into brick building (Lego) and I saw this and thought it would be a neat way to use some left over bricks I have. I want to first say- I didn't know but a large part of this is 3D printed. BUT- I think that's actually fine here. The 4x4 plate is actual injection molded plastic, some general off brand version with no text on the tops of the studs. They seem to be perfectly fine quality and work fine with my existing bricks from all brands (Lego or otherwise). The 4x4 plate is set into a 3D printed base which then attaches to the wrist strap. The printing appears to be done in what is known as FDM (the most common home printer style). At first thought that might seem like a rip off BUT the print quality is actually fantastic on this. The straps are silicone with a metal stud to fasten. There is good stretch to the strap so you can get it really tight or you can leave it looser so you can rotate it some. I have mostly been using mine for holding small parts while building kits, specifically when I'm doing a repetitive section of a build, but I've also built some faux "smart watch" faces out of print tiles I have left over from kits. Overall- I think this is great despite being a 3D printed item. The price is great for two bands, the quality is great for the price, and overall it's just a neat thing to have something which looks like a watch at first glance but then BAM- Lego. Review: Fun and Creative Watch - This watch is super fun for anyone who likes LEGO or building things. The 4×4 brick face lets you change the design whenever you want, which makes it feel unique every day. It’s a cool way to mix creativity with a practical watch. The strap is soft and adjustable, so it fits comfortably all day. I also like that it feels durable and can handle regular wear. Just a note, LEGO figures are not included. It’s a great gift for kids or anyone who enjoys playful, customizable accessories.
