GREAT alternative to desktop risers as you can roll this “bad boy” anywhere! VERY easy to assemble; complete construction to use in 5 minutes. The stand is very sturdy, excellent construction, and an awesome value!

Overall, I’m happy with this standing desk. It’s perfect for small spaces and works well for my laptop setup. The tabletop is big enough for my computer and a few small items, but it’s still compact and easy to move around. Assembly was pretty simple and took me about 20–30 minutes. The wheels roll smoothly and lock in place, which I really like. The height adjustment works well and makes it easy to switch between sitting and standing. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that there’s a slight wobble when it’s adjusted to the tallest height, especially if I’m typing quickly. It’s not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of. Overall, great value for the price and very practical for a home office or dorm setup.

Let me start by saying this: I have owned a mobile desk before, and that thing nearly sent me into early retirement. Every time I touched it, the top tilted like it was auditioning for a role as a seesaw. If I breathed near it, it moved. If I looked at it wrong, it moved. This desk feels like it came from a different universe. Finally - a great mobile desk that doesn't let gravity drift it away into a black hole, where everything eventually falls off ! This desk, on the other hand, is the calm, stable, emotionally mature desk I always hoped for. When you push on the surface, it stays put. It does not wobble, does not tilt, does not shift, and does not attempt to fold itself into a new shape. It just behaves. It does not have an angle adjustment like my last desk, but you know what... after my last desk, I am done with that. My previous one had angle settings that would not stay in place. Sometimes simple is better. Assembly is simple as well. It took about 10-15 minutes, mostly because I had to screw in the wheels. Everything fit together exactly the way it should, which these days, is a blessing. The build quality is excellent. The wheels do glide smoothly, and the legs slide right under furniture. My daughter's bed is tall, and this desk fits underneath it perfectly so she can pull it up close. She had been trying to use her laptop in bed like a gremlin hunched over a glowing rectangle. The height adjustment works well. Raise it, lower it, use it as a standing desk, no problem. One thing to know is that even at its lowest height, the desk is still a bit tall. It is ideal for higher beds or tall seating, but it may feel high if you are using a low chair. Two of the wheels lock, and you will want to position those in a way that helps keep the desk from sliding. Once they are set, the desk stays where you want it. Overall, this desk feels high quality, stable, and absolutely worth the price. After wrestling with an old flimsy desk from another brand that never stayed put, this one feels like redemption. This truly is a great quality desk - and I considering buying another one for myself.

This small standing desk has been really beneficial. It’s compact, but still bigger than the TV tray I was using before. I use it as a mobile nail-care workstation for myself at home, and I can roll it anywhere I need to. It’s the perfect size. I can fit everything I need on top of it and still have plenty of room to work on my nails. It was easy to put together, though I did have to check the instructions a couple of times because I kept trying to install pieces backwards. Once I figured that out, it came together fine. My only real complaint is the manual up-and-down lever. It’s pretty difficult to push the desk back down to its lowest height. I struggle with that part, even though I consider myself reasonably strong. Because of that, I keep it at the height I need when I’m sitting in a chair, not at the lowest setting, but not at the tallest either, just somewhere in between. The casters roll really well. One of the locking casters locks a little too easily, and the other is harder to push down for some reason. I’m not sure why, but it hasn’t caused any real problems. Overall, I’m very happy with this desk. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a smaller workstation than a full-size standing desk. For my purposes, it’s been absolutely perfect.

I use a laptop computer for all of my research and writing. Sometimes I like to leave my study and sit in another room with the television on while I type. Some call that dual-tasking. It's not very easy, but it's possible. I used to place my laptop on my lap or on a so-called lap desk, but that was always a bit uncomfortable. The SageNest Mobile Adjustable Height Rolling Laptop Desk has proven to be a very nice alternative. There are several features that I particularly like. First, assembling the desk was simple and took very little time. Once assembled, the desk is mobile. The wheels move smoothly across the floor. Once in place where I want to use it, I can lock the two front wheels to hold it in place. The desk height can be easily adjusted by using the lever on the right side to lift or lower the desk top. I have not tried using it as a standing desk, but I do not see any problems with doing so. The SageNest Mobile Desk is marketed as a "mobile desk" especially useful with a laptop computer. But it has many other potential uses. Sit an entertainment device--cd player, etc.--on it while working in the kitchen or elsewhere. Use it to relax, putting together a puzzle or doing a craft. You can always push it aside and come back to it later. This mobile desk is a good addition to my office furniture and I can recommend it.
