Crescent Lufkin 1/2" x 3m/10' Mezurall® Chrome Case SAE/Metric Yellow Clad Power Return Tape Measure - W9210ME

Works well when you need a quick measurement. Rating a 5 with caveats. It is accurate and easy to use. Fits well in my pocket. The caveats are small. You have to hold the tape to keep it from retracting back in as there is no hold button or auto hold. The other thing has to do with the belt clip. I wish it was removable as that would make it take a bit less room in my pocket. Overall it is worth the 5 star rating.

Sturdy steel case. Good size for pocket; doesn't bulge out. Nice SAE/metric scale. Doesn't lock but otherwise perfect.

Nice and non bulky in the pocket and just what I was looking for. Mine came with a pocket clip and the case is plastic but that's fine with me. The clip might come in handy.

I love this little tape measure! The only issue is that the company needs to update the picture for this item. It does not look like the picture. It has a Crescent / Lufkin logo. I am also unsure if the body of the tape is actually metal (as the incorrect picture is); I have not further investigated.

I'm disappointed. The markings on the tape, especially the red markings used for major increments, are poorly applied, blurry, and don't line up properly with the pips. The black longitudinal line that separates the English and Metric scales is misregistered in several places. When measured for accuracy, it's about a mm off. For my needs that's tolerable but still. The Lufkin I knew decades ago made better quality measuring tape. I suspect the brand has been bought and sold over the years and is now a hollow shell of what it used to be.

I order safety/production supplies for the company where I work. The Lufkin power tape measure withstands a lot of use . One of the employees had one that lasted more than five years with daily use. It's a nice size and fits easily in your pocket.

I needed this for work but when I used it I noticed the tape had no stop button. If you need to take pictures you need one person holding it or else it will recoil.

Looks like the original high quality tool, priced like a high quality tool.....but most certainly is not a high quality tool. Feels cheap & plasticy in the hand, which makes sense since its made out of plastic. Return spring is week.
