Whitmor Natural Cotton Laundry Bag

Most laundry bags are nylon or some form of synthetic material. They don't hold up. They always rip and usually right along the seam. This laundry bag is strong and the seams are well constructed. It's also a lot larger than it looks. Great bag. Edit: As of January 3, 2012, this bag is still holding up. No rips, no tears, no frays, nothing. It gets laundered once a week with the laundry. Holds the most heavy loads, including lots of towels. Perfect.

As described/ pictured. Good cotton bag, cotton cord and cinch works well. Two mid size loads fit in it. It's a bit thinner than expected. Washed and dried it once and it held up fine, got wrinkly but didn't shrink.

It is not as sturdy as canvas, but is lightweight and easier to pack. I can fit a few days clothes before making a trip to the laundry.

These laundry bags are sturdier and roomier than they look. They also make great storage bags for seasonal items and kids toys. I would recommend buying several of these, you will be pleased with the quality for the price.

Only lasted a few washes before seam started unraveling.

Nice size, very large and holds a lot. The material holds up pretty well. I wash it every week because I put my used gym clothes in it after working out.

This laundry bag does what it says, I don't want to be unreasonable. But it is awkward to bring this downstairs since the only thing you can hold onto is a thin string. When it's full, it's actually painful to hold on to the string so you'd end up carrying the whole bag like a baby. It's pretty big so if you are short to medium height, you can't really see in front of you. I live on a top floor of an apartment and I have to use staircases to go down to the basement for laundry and going down with this thing with my both hands is sort of scary. However, I came up with a solution and I think anyone who sew could do this too! I simply sewn on a handle I made with several folds of vinyl strings which were wrapped up with a cotton cloth. It's a lot more comfortable(and safe!) using this bag with a handle :)

This bag is bigger than I thought it would be but that's a good thing. I had read some reviews saying that it was small but that's not the case. I was able to fit about 5 loads of laundry in it and it's well made. Looks like it'll last for quite a while.

Ordered several of these, previously my husband was using plastic garbage bags a lot so these will help.

Advantages: - Washable, decent cloth quality (but not the rope) - Semi-breathable fabric keeps dirty clothes from getting worse Disadvantages: - Rope came off after 3 washes or so - Rope got lost / very annoying to stick back in - Get the other type of bag, with a better rope (for example, the green whitmor laundry bag with a different/stronger rope)

Had no problem jamming this full of laundry and lugging it around the city. It has held up after a year of use and repeated washes. Not much more to say than that.

It does the job, but if the load is heavy, it can start ripping. I would suggest you buy a size larger than you need, and avoid filling it to the brim.
