Casio Men's GW-M5610-1BJF G-Shock Solar Digital Multi Band 6 Black Watch

This is it. THE watch. Multiband, Solar, G-Shock. If you (or anyone else, ever) is looking for a watch, this is it. Casio has created the perfect watch and nobody realistically needs anything more than this. That said, this square has a negative display that is at times maybe 15% more difficult to see on average but can be a lot worse is very dim conditions, but thats why we have a light. As solid and as reliable as any square, everyone needs one of these in their lives.

Great watch. If you're in the dark or less well lit areas, may be worth considering a non-negative display. But this works and looks great to me.

I love this watch. A little harder to read, but that’s what I was looking for. I work nights and this goes perfect in low light. Very durable, like doesn’t even look like I wear it every day! Solar battery is amazing too.

This is a great watch, fit for purpose as a no-nonsense daily driver. The MB6 radio synch updates every night as far out as the North East US and Mid-Atlantic US. I got this because I needed a very accurate watch - and this meets that need very well. Sleek, stealth monochromatic look. Size works great for a 6.5 and up wrist size. Takes a knocks, immersion in water, and keeps working like a G-Shock should. Great price. As others have mentioned, the negative relief LCD screen is not easy to read from multiple viewing angles - you have to be OK with looking and moving your wrist to a viewable angle. This would not be a problem if the auto-backlight feature worked as advertised - mine is inconsistent and works maybe 10-20% of the time. Also - as others have mentioned, and if it matters to you - if you’re buying form Amazon as the seller & shipper - you will not get the JDM version of the watch, but the international version (high is no different…)

This is infamous Casio square, the very first G-Shock that started it all back in 1983. The 5610 continues that lineage, keeping the same classic square shape and offers one of the slimmest profiles of any G-Shock models today. Because of its classic timeless shape, its perfect for work or recreation, and doesn't look out of place in any occasion, even with a suit. This watch is perfect for anyone looking for a timepiece that's simple and unobtrusive. I would recommend this model as the first for anyone looking to start dipping their toes in the G-Shock world. This particular model is the 5610U (at least, the one I received from Amazon). The "U" is the updated model, I believe released in 2022, offering an upgraded LED light amongst other enhancements. What's great about this watch is that you essentially don't really need to do anything to it once you set it up. The Multi-Band 6 automatic radio time syncing syncs with the atomic clock signal put out in Fort Collins (in US) so you'll get the most accurate reading as long as you set up your home city. The watch syncs up nightly as long as you place it near a window. Other functions the watch has includes stopwatch, countdown timers, alarms, and world time (48 cities with 5 customizable city settings). This model also features power saving function where the watch turns off if left in the dark for a while, making it last even longer. Oh yeah, did I mention that its solar powered? As long as the watch gets to see some sun here and there, it will never run out of batteries. It doesn't even need to be directly in the sun, it works with any light source. Its essentially a set it and forget it watch. Never need to set the time and never need to swap or charge the battery. This is a watch that's designed and made to withstand any type of destruction or disaster. Who needs a smart watch? NOTE: Even though Amazon lists this watch as the "Japan" model (1BJF), it is NOT. This is actually the international model (1BJF) which may deter some purists looking for the "Made in Japan" printed on the underside. As far as I can tell, there are no noticeable differences in style or functionality except for where its made (international models are made in Thailand). Just something to keep in mind.

まず、最大の長所はメンテナンスフリーなところです。 ソーラー電波なので、充電不要と正確な時刻というのは当然なのですが、それに付け加えてとにかく丈夫です。 日常生活で、落としてもぶつけても傷や凹みは今のところありません。本当に丈夫です。 それに、防水ですので汚れたらすぐに水洗いができ、キレイな状態を保てます。衛生的でもありますね。 次に軽い。つけていて負荷がかかりません。 いいところは他にもありますが、それよりは購入を考えられている方が気になっている（と私が身勝手に思っている）懸念点について言及しておきます。 懸念点としてあげられる反転液晶も、個人的にはそれほど見にくいとは思いませんでした。 暗闇でもバックライトがあるので問題なく見えますよ。 このように性能ばっちりの腕時計ですので、デザインが気に入ればコスパ最高の腕時計だと思います。 私はデザインがとても気に入っていますので、本当にそう思っています。

Definitivamente lo recomiendo. Me encantó. Este reloj lo compré para no batallar con los cambios de baterías y aparte tiene una función automática(LT) para que la luz se encienda automáticamente en cuanto giras la muñeca hacia tu cara. Puedes ajustar la duración de la luz para que dure uno o tres segundos encendida. Es un modelo discreto, ligero, resistente y funcional. Definitivamente es el que usaré de batalla. Viene muy bien empacado y me llegó en un par de días.

Great watch wish I never got the negative display though.

Been wearing it daily in a factory setting for over 4 years now, and you couldn’t tell by the wear and tear. The 6 band function means it’s synced with my company’s computers which is a great feature. Comfortable and love the negative display. Cant say enough nice things about it

El reloj es una buena opción para tener de colección, desgraciadamente la pantalla negativa no se logra percibir bien en un lugar cerrado o con poca luz, al aire libre se ve maravilloso, que es para lo que está diseñado; el contacto directo con la luz, ahí la pantalla negativa adquiere una belleza que depende el gusto de cada uno si le es agradable o no. Aunque le cuesta trabajo recibir la señal (yo vivo en el estado de México) me imagino que alguien más al norte del país se le hará menos complicado el proceso de recibir la información. A simple vista se aprecia más delgado y pequeño que otros g shock, yo tengo el clásico dw5600 ya con varios años de uso rudo y en la foto puede verse como se aprecia más pequeño este GW La iluminación efectivamente no es El Electroluminescent, el percibir el foquito que enciende y da luz le quita la belleza al reloj, pero me imagino que es debido al módulo con el que está diseñado este reloj, me parece que el módulo que tiene la luz EL es de otro año de fabricación, puedo estar equivocado en este dato pero el que me tocó a mí tiene esa luz que veo en las reseñas a muchos les incomoda. La calidad de la resina se siente bien al tacto, tiene una sensación más suave a la que recuerdo de otros g shock, no es premium pero por el precio es un gusto al tacto. La parte trasera no tiene ningún fallo y ya tiene contacto con el reloj, me hace pensar que este diseño de la tapa trasera le ayuda a tener un mejor agarre a la muñeca, lo que lo hace sentir más pequeño, y con los normales o como el gw5000 que tiene tapa roscada genera esa sensación de brusquedad. Yo estoy encantado con el reloj, y por el precio al que lo encontré (1900 aprox), no lo duden y agregenlo a su colección
