Does it work in dirt areas with gravel

Works over dirt gravel grass and solid surfaces.I don't think you will be disappointed.

Does this have a rare earth magnet like neodymium?

Yes, it has. Ours sweeper takes NdFeB magnet/ Neodymium magnet, which is a permanent magnet made from an alloy of neodymium, iron and boron to form the Nd₂Fe₁₄B tetragonal crystalline structure.

Is it a really strong magnet because I bought things before and they were weak?

Magnet has worked well for me. I first used it after reroofing my home, rolled it all around my house to pick up nails, did a great job. The only problem I had was around tree roots which run above ground some, would roll over high roots well, had to pick it up in those areas. It picked up all metal small metal items such as nails, screws, washers. I feel it does a great job!

Is the magnetic inside the same size in th 24" wide as the 36" wide?
