Good Camera just waiting to see if I can register for warranty.
Great camera for me. Easy to install and use. I will see how long it lasts. 5 Stars. Update: Called the customer service line to register for warranty. They informed me all I need is the model number and the Amazon order number if I had any problems with the unit, no need to register for the warranty. Camera was easy to install, great size monitor, multiple way to mount. Picture quality is great for me. Great camera for the price. My camper was already wired for the camper; I just had to add the adapter. I have not used it that much so I cannot address any connectivity issues. Good camera for the price. Biggest issue so far is having to download the WhatsApp to get the warranty. I don't need another app on my phone. I'll call their Technical Hotline and see if I can register it that way. If I can't I'll either return it or just use it without the warranty. Will give it a higher rating if I can register by calling them.

55 foot rig. Camera worked Flawlessly! So thankful for this unit!!!!
Waited until we had used this product for a cross country haul before writing a review. We have a one ton GMC and a gooseneck Lakota LQ RV/ 3 horse slant. We are 55 feet long and because of the poor reviews on the older units I spent time and read lots of reviews on the Web before purchasing this camera. Dear hubby didn’t think we needed it, and I decided if we were swapping driving duties and I needed the peace of mind to be able to actually see what was drafting behind us in the blind spot or creeping up the right side, or knowing we were clear to back up or complete a turn.... then I was going to just go ahead and order the camera. It arrived well packed and on time. We have LED running lights on the trailer above the back doors (just below the roofline) hubby and our trusty mechanic removed the center LED unit and wired the camera into that slot and it mounted in flawlessly. We never lost signal with the camera to the monitor. Not once! No matter how fast we drove, through horrific downpours in the Midwest, or in the dead of night. (Camera goes into greyscale mode and the black and white is perfect at night.) We never mounted the monitor in the truck. We barely got the camera installed before we had to hit the road. We just leaned the monitor against the dash behind the cup holders in the console It never moved and we could see it perfectly. After driving with it for a day or two it was not distracting at all. I enjoyed being able to check my mirrors and the monitor before changing lanes or exiting ramps. My worst nightmare hauling is the idiots who refuse to yield onto the highway and when you’re hauling something that big you cannot see them and you can’t make sudden course changes, add in a live load (Horses are precious cargo!) and “the other guy” who doesn’t yield becomes a deadly menace. If you’re wavering, don’t hesitate. It took less than an hour to install. The picture on the monitor Is clear and sharp. We did not find there was any Interruption or delay in the image feed. We typically stayed between 65-75mph on the clear, flat open highways. Our mechanic was super impressed with this unit too. We haven’t had time to set up the ‘back up grid lines’ yet, we will play with that now that we have more time. We didn’t miss having them activated. We will be contacting the company for a free additional camera which we plan to install in the trailer to check on the horses if need be (the manufacturers offer a free extra camera in the product packing paperwork) Great product! Our only regret was not buying one sooner! Hubby absolutely loved it and agreed that it made our trip much less stressful. I would hate to think what we would have gone through in one or two of our stops where things were super tight and we had to back out to get back on the highway.... even if one of us had to get out to be certain we had a hairs clearance to get turned around; you could always see the ground person as a marker in the cameras line of sight. (Practice that in case of parking mayhem!) Great product!

I LOVE this camera system!!
This is a fantastic camera system! It includes everything you need for installation and it works plug and play right out-of-the-box. It is super easy to install in various configurations and being wireless, you don't have to string wires to it. I used it for awhile with the one camera that it came with and I liked it so much that I decided to add a second camera to the system. I ordered the second camera and it arrived quickly. It was very easy to pair with the system and worked first time. Now I can look at the monitor and see camera 1, camera 2 or both cameras in a split screen. Two additional cameras can be added for a total of 4. It has a very intuitive menu system and even includes the ability to record. You can set it to record camera 1, camera 2 or both cameras. As long as it is powered up it will record even if the screen is turned off. It records to an SD card and uses a compression scheme that allows it to hold quite a bit of footage. You can set it to loop record and it will always have the most recent footage available in case you need to review it. The night vision is fantastic. Of course with night vision it is black and white using infrared lighting but it is extremely clear and will allow you to back up in complete darkness! The day vision is very vibrant and displays a great 1080 color picture. There are numerous mounting options available depending on your needs. There's an instruction sheet that includes all the information you need plus some additional online help. When I was testing this before installation, I took the camera into the basement and to the other end of the house just to see if I could get it to lose connection and it never did! In summary, this is a great system and I can highly recommend it! My philosophy is that, for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. I DON'T take into consideration prices or issues with shipping. I stick to a fair and honest evaluation of the product itself. Following is each of the five categories of *stars* and how I assign them to a product: ***** Five stars - Exceeded my expectations. I really love it! **** Four stars - Met my expectations. I like it and recommend it. *** Three stars - Average- some pros but some notable cons. ** Two stars - Disappointed- few pros and too many cons. * One star - Terrible! Stay away from it! I don't often give five stars for something unless I really love it, and I rarely give one star. Hopefully this helps you to understand why I gave my star rating to this product. Thanks for reading my review! I hope it has helped you.

Works much better than expected!
I purchased these cameras to install on the back of a 4-door Jeep Wrangler being towed behind a 31-foot motorhome. Being my first experience towing a vehicle behind an RV, I wanted to make sure that I could see behind the Jeep when changing lanes, merging, or passing. This monitor and cameras are perfect for this application. Before I purchased, I was apprehensive about the monitor, in the front of the RV, being able to receive the signal from the cameras at the back of the Jeep. The advertised range is hundreds of feet of open area, but the monitor is installed inside and the cameras are outside. I connected the cameras to the constant power connected running to the rear roll bar dome light and added a toggle switch (not included, but available at my local hardware store) so that I would be able to turn the cameras off when not in use. After installing and powering everything, the cameras came on and connected immediately and automatically to the monitor. The only issue was that the camera I had installed on the left of the Jeep was on the right side of the monitor. There is probably a setting in the menu to swap them. I opted to physically swap the cameras instead. The daytime image quality is amazing. The nighttime image quality is acceptable and varies by lighting conditions. For example, the image is great until there are bright headlights shining on the camera. Then, all you can see are the headlights and the lines on the road. For my application, however, that's all I need. That is, all I need to know is if there is a vehicle there or not. I would buy this monitor and cameras again! That said, there are a few things to be aware of in making this purchase: 1. The installation instructions/owner's manual is worthless. Sure, you get one that is paper with words and pictures, but there's no real useful information. If you require detailed, step by step instructions to perform the installation, that's not in the manual. 2. The antennas on the cameras seem flimsy, especially in my application where the cameras are mounted outside of the vehicle with antennas facing nearby cargo on the rack that is often taken off the rack and put back on. I will be ordering spares. 3. I haven't been able to find the slot in the monitor to install the memory card to record video. As mentioned, the manual is worthless. 4. There is a noticeable and distracting flash during nighttime operation. I think what is happening is that the cameras are changing light modes as lighting conditions change while driving. This might occur for all similar products. 5. There is a slight but noticeable stutter in the video when driving at highway speeds. For my application, I don't need to see every frame. Again, all I need to know is if there is a vehicle there or not. Overall, the issues are minor in comparison to the benefit that the system provides, including ease of installation, for the cost.

Test before install
Test camera when you get this. This was very easy to set up.the video looked great other than power it has a wireless connection from the camera to the screen and a quick connection with good quality picture very stable bright picture. When this arrived the instructions said to test before installing the camera didn't work so we ordered the replacement and that next morning we sent the broken one back. They sent the new one out we got it the next day. There response was awesome. I would advise you to give this company a try and the price was very affordable. I wish I would have taken pictures it was that easy.

Excellent system (w/Update)
I previously had a wired camera that was intermittent and sometimes would not come on at all. After installation I had some issues figuring out how to mount the monitor in the cab. My opinion is that the camera system should come with the windshield mount. Some suggestions to make this system even better: 1) make a mount adapter that fits a rear view mirror slot, one that can be glued directly to glass like a rear view mount for stability; 2) the ability to buy more than 2 monitors if you have multiple trailers and do not want to transfer the camera to each one; 3) the brightness of the monitor quickly fades to unreadability between setting 1 and 2, rendering low brightness near unusable; 4) volume control....does this camera support sound? I don't know, but its in the settings; I give this system a 5 star rating for the ease of installation and the quality of the picture. This system works VERY well. Highly recommend, instantly makes your rig safer and more enjoyable to maneuver. With the proper after market 12v adapters, this system could also be used on A/C should the need arise. I would buy again, and probably will to get more cameras. **Update** System use: Ok, so I’ve had the chance to use this product for almost 2 weeks. In just that short amount of time, it’s prevented 2 accidents. I really cannot see anything out of the back of my Ford F-350 with a camper shell, nor anything a the back of the cargo trailer. This system is an absolute must. In short, it works great. The cameras are bigger than your typical license plate camera (I have one) but this system is much higher resolution. Install was easy. I chose to tie in with the running lights. I recommend soldering the connection, or soldering the connection to the electrical connector at a minimum. I chose to install one camera at the back of my truck and one at the back of the trailer. Install note: make sure that your camera is properly grounded. My trailer camera had an intermittent ground, causing the video feed to go in and out when the trailer bounced. I fixed the problem and no issues since. I have not had to use the included signal extender and my transmitters are about 40ft apart. It’s just great. Low light: I have “experience” with all forms of night vision, infrared and low light camera systems. This system automatically switches from color to black and white/infrared light assist (that can switch off w/button). In my case the camera is mounted just inside the camper and the infrared was causing a glare on the back glass...So I just cover the infrared lights with electrical tape, that worked. The image in low light is clear and discernible out to the visual limit of the camera, by my estimation 100 meters in low light, 200 meters in normal light/color mode. Recording capability: it has the capability to record up to 70 hours of video from both cameras at the same time. If it goes over 70 hours, it just rewrites over the data. This might be a function useful to some. The company: it’s rare for a company to communicate so well and actually follow through on a promise. They did this for me....twice. This is how you get repeat costumers and build your business. Great job Juny Liu! Additional recommendations: 1) For my use, I found the windshield mount to be a must. It’s very solid and doesn’t bounce around. This should be included standard. With the suction mount, no alternate mount is needed. 2) it would be nice to have the option to purchase individual components separately...suction mount, monitor or cameras in case of damage or multiple vehicles or trailers. I really like this system. For larger rigs...50-60ft or more, I’d consider getting a similar model with 4 cameras. The concept is the same, the cameras are pretty much the same, just the monitor can accept 4 simultaneous video feeds.

Easy install & sharp screen image
Got this to help with backing my travel trailer and to have a rear view while driving. If your RV is prewired, installation is very simple. Screws, wiring harness, adapter plates are all included so it took less than 30 minutes. The monitor can be secured to the dash with 3M tape or to the windshield with the suction cup mount. I chose the windshield mount as I will only use this while towing my trailer. Enough You Tube videos are available to help as well. The screen image is extremely clear and bright. This should reduce the number of times I have to get out of the truck to check on surroundings when backing into a site. Will also allow me to view traffic behind me while traveling to assist in lane changing. The installation method powers the camera as long as the trailer running lights are on so I can power on/off as needed. I would strongly recommend this camera!

Good camera system, big screen.
The camera works well and I'm excited to have it. Installation of the camera was pretty easy. I probably should have read more reviews because I thought the camera mounted inside the Furrion half moon thingy, it does not. It does include all the brackets and wiring needed to took it up. However, mounting the screen in my truck was very challenging. The suction cup mount is too short to work with the angle of my windshield and I'm not going to put screws into the dash board of a newer vehicle. I ended up making a wood block to fit the tray on top of my dash and mounted the bracket to it. This still allows me to remove the entire setup when not in use.
