Women's Jazmynn Lo Ballet Flat

This is a review of "Clarks Womens Jazmynn Lo". True to Clark's reputation, these flats are made with soft and comfortable, high-quality leather. It is sewn neatly with stretchiness around the front of the shoe which is great to accommodate someone with wider feet, but it is not so stretchy that it creates a large gap. The flexible soles are made of rubber and perfect to keep your foot supported. It absorbs any hardness from the pavement for a shock-free, comfortable step. The cut and style are pretty timeless. I recall wearing shoes like this back when I was a little girl, again in high school, later as a professional in an office setting, and can wear them daily now with practically any outfit. Because of the great quality of Clark's leather and materials, this is an investment piece that I anticipate will last the rest of my life. One thing to note is that these are generously sized. If you are between sizes, I strongly suggest sizing down. I am between sizes and chose exactly the mid-size, going with an 8.5, and it fits quite loosely, so I have to pad the toe to keep the shoes from flopping off when I walk. My one caveat is that this is winter still, so my feel tend to be smaller during the cooler months - I wonder if these might fit me better during the summer time when everything tends to swell from the heat. Great shoes - so comfortable! Just be sure that you pick the right size.

DESCRIPTION The ballerina flat shoes are a cream color with a yellow tint on top and a dark beige grip sole. The heel sole has a fine lined grip and the sole foot pad has fine nub grip. The leather upper is soft and has an elastic front top line. The toe shape is rounded square. The copper beige colored foot bed is cushioned with air vent holes. The back of the heel has a slight cushion at the top. SPECS The pair of shoes weigh 15.7 ounces. The sole has a 0.5 inch platform heel and a 0.125 inch raised foot bed, resulting in a 0.375 of an inch rise. OVERVIEW The shoes are easy to slip off and on without using a shoe horn. The flats are comfortable to wear and walk in. The grip textured bottoms adhered to the floor and the shoe felt sturdy. They fit my narrower (not narrow enough for a B width but most Medium widths are too wide), which is cost effective along with the leather upper. There was a slight looking gap due to the way the upper wraps around the outer sides of the shoes by my ankles and the back of my right left foot. I did not feel the gap walking and the shoes stayed completely on my feet with every stride. I chose the cream color for a lighter look for summer and because it will match most every color of dress that I have except for white ones and ones with white in the pattern. The shoes are manufactured well with a secure sole and complete stitching.

I got the flats in the tan color because they seemed great for everyday wear! I wore them out today for the first time. I usually run between size 7.5 (usually for open-toed shoes) and size 8 (for closed-toe shoes), but these definitely run slightly big! I would absolutely recommend sizing down if you are between sizes. Throughout today, the shoe was clearly too big for me and ended up slipping around and slightly off my foot as I walked. Throughout the day, it ended slipping around a bit less, but still, I would definitely recommend sizing down for the correct fit! Other than that, though - the shoe is very comfortable. I appreciate the padding in the shoe - outside of it slipping around because it was too large, it was really comfortable to walk around all day in, and it didn’t scrape the back of my heel like new flats usually do! The padding felt pretty supportive and I was able it comfortably all day with no issue. You can see the padding in the photos. The ruching around the toe is also pretty cute, and does give a bit of a ballet look. There’s a very slight heel to the shoe so it’s not as flat as some other flats, which I like. Overall, a great, practical, and cute shoe, but it runs large, so definitely size down! I wish I got mine a size down 🙁

My wife is impressed with the design and workmanship of the Clark's Jazmynn Lo, as she normally is with the brand's offerings. The seams, TPR soles, and leather are all top-notch, and the Ultimate Comfort foam insoles live up to their name. She also found the tan finish ideal for many of her favorite outfits. Unfortunately, the shoes were at least a full size too large - not good for a slip-on. It was ordered in her usual size. One that worked perfectly with previous Clark's shoes and sandals. In this case, however, the Jazmynn Lo's were flapping around as she walked, and felt like they would fly off at anytime. Hopefully this is not a common issue with this shoe, but as is not uncommon with online shoe purchases, be prepared to reorder a different size and don't wait until the last second if wanted for a special event.

This shoe fits similarly to a pair of Clarks I’ve had for several years and love! I have an average foot and find that the fit in length and width is as expected, but *if* you’re between sizes I’d suggest selecting the smaller size in this style. The gathered upper does help the shoe “grip” my foot slightly for a better fit and I have added inserts to the shoes for additional arch support based on my own preference. Like most Clarks shoes, these provide a cushioned experience and are very comfortable after a short break-in period. The shoes were stiffer right out of the box and it took about 2 days before they felt great, so have patience because the fit improves and they conformed to my foot after a couple of wears. The style of the shoe is classic with a few modern updates like the squared toes, the rubber heel covering (great for protecting the leather from scuffs while driving!), and the gathered uppers. The cream colored leather is a great choice heading into warmer weather and the shoes are wonderful quality, expected to last for several seasons.
