Boot Men's Georgia Giant High Romeo GR500 Work Boot

I ordered and received an 11.5 Wide but they weren't very wide - fit was true to size on length if anything a touch short and not super narrow but not wide. Ariat Sport Booker in 11.5 wide is wider.

It's been 2 weeks and this is my go to boots for long work day. Almost no break in period, comfortable, nice cushy sole, and the gorgeous dark brown full grain leather are the pluses. The only gripe is the noticeable squeaky noise when walking on marble floors, not a deal breaker considering the quality for this price.

These boots are durable enough for work and fashionable for everyday use. They are real Goodyear welts and genuine leather so they can be cobbled which is difficult to get for the price. Because they are genuine leather, it is imperative that potential buyers be aware that a break in period is required for them to mold to your feet. So the most important part is ensuring the size matches to your actual feet size since you can't change the size of a sole. They will be tight to fit first and this is good because you don't want your slip-ons to be loose from the get-go since this is sign that it will get uncomfortable once broken in. It took me about a week to break them in starting at a couple hours per day around the house until I could wear them more and more. Now I can wear them for 9 hours a day walking/hiking without a fatigue. There is a plastic type waterproof coating on top so if you use these for work, you're probably going to scratch it off in now time revealing the real colour of the leather underneath which may look ugly. No fear, grab some mink oil and rub that on and it will go back to similar patina. These are probably the best "real" boots you can buy for the price.
