I got this so that my boring gray mechanical workspace could finally have some personality. My arrow keys needed a serious vibe check, so I popped these four blue transparent paws right onto my Cherry MX switches. They snapped into place with zero effort, immediately changing the whole layout. The way the keyboard lighting hits the glittery resin is elite. It actually makes hitting those keys feel like a tiny reward. The material quality holds up surprisingly well under heavy gaming sessions. The build quality feels dense and premium, not like cheap plastic that will crack next month. Ergonomics are definitely different since the squishy paw pads sit a bit higher than standard OEM keys. You get used to it fast, but it changes the general typing feel. It adds real value if you want a custom aesthetic without breaking the bank. I love how easy these are to adjust. Make sure your keyboard uses standard cross-shaped stem switches before you pull the trigger. The handmade process leaves tiny, unique variations, but the stem fit is tight and secure. Do not force them down if they feel stiff at first. Gently wiggle them into place so you do not stress the switch underneath.

This cat paw keycap came packaged in a small box and not just a baggie which is a plus, especially for gifting. The keycap itself is beautiful. The purple color is rich and it has a lot of sparkle. However, it was difficult to place on my keyboard. It required a lot of force to get it to stay in place, and it has to be pressed on exactly straight down, so maybe the tolerances are a bit tight. I fitted this to two different keyboards and both had the same issue. Once it is on, it is awesome. It does stick out a little higher than the neighboring keys, but not so much as to detract from the appearance. The RGB lights from my keyboard show through the purple cat paw nice and clearly, adding to its charm. It doesn't have any negative impact on clicking the ESC key or the sound the keyboard makes. This is a good product, I'm only detracting one star because of the initial difficulty with getting it placed on the keyboard. Once properly mounted, it is sturdy and does not come loose.

I really like this keycap! It looks cute, feels well made, and adds a nice personal touch to my keyboard. It fits perfectly and was easy to install. Simple, fun, and a great little upgrade for any keyboard setup!

What does one do with a singular keycap? Well, one takes it to work and sticks it on the escape key of their rainbow light up mechanical keyboard, of course. The keyboard I'm using is white with rainbow LEDs, and up there in the corner, this little paw looks great. The transparency means that the backlight from the keyboard shines right through it and makes it sparkle. One doesn't often use the escape key these days, but when I've had to, the texture of the cap has been very appealing, honestly. It's smooth with very little squish, but not totally hard plastic. It's really nice. Really solid too; I had to press pretty hard to get it to fit on the post since I've never changed the caps on this particular board before, and at no point did anything make me concerned about it breaking or not fitting. It's just a silly little thing, but it really brightens my day when I see it in my office. I'm almost sad to be on vacation this week. Almost.

This keycap was really tough to get to fit onto my mechanical keyboard, which uses a Cherry style stem, but eventually I was able to get it on. I have it set as my F10 key, and it fits right in with two other sea critter keycaps I have gotten. It is a bit smaller than the other two and feels slightly more rounded and smoother, but it still looks great with them. The quality is really good, and the koi design looks beautiful, almost like it is frozen in time. Even though it was a little difficult to get on the keyboard, I am still a big fan of this artisan keycap. It is a really nice little piece for anyone who likes unique keycaps.

I got three resin keycaps from DOHOMEQ: Cat's paw , which they have in a variety of colors and blinginess Manta ray , which is also available in a variety of colors & koi fish Planet Earth , they also have all the other planets + sun & moon All of the keycaps are really striking up close. The cat's paw is more about the shape and bling. But with the manta ray and planet Earth, it's really impressive how much detail they manage to get inside a keycap. Installation was straightforward but a little tough. The keycaps were snugger than most. The cat's paw in particular really didn't want to go onto the stem. I really had to push and I was nervous about breaking the switch. But it did go on and seat squarely. I tried to show in my video how much light you get through the caps. The cat's paw is definitely more lit up than the other two. I was actually kind of disappointed in the planet Earth. I wish more light got through. As it is, unless you're in a brightly lit room, you can't really appreciate the art. I'd also point out that the earth, viewed from above (the way you would normally view it) is very much dark-on-dark and hard to see even in a well lit room. It's better appreciated from the side, which is unfortunate since that's not the way it would normally be viewed. The material is a hard resin that seems very durable. The earth and the manta ray have a very high-polished feel to them. The cat's paw is also polished but not flat like the other 2, the shape of the paw pads obviously make it very distinctive. These will go on a new keyboard I am putting together; please forgive all the board chow on my old board in the photo. They do come in nice little gift boxes but the boxes were beat up by the time they got here, but the keycaps were fine. These are neat for specialty, distinctive key caps. Obviously it would get very pricey very quickly to outfit a whole keyboard with these caps, although it seems like Dohomeq might have enough variety of themes and colors to actually do it if you wanted. For one or a few pieces to set your keyboard apart it's not a bad value. I can't really recommend the planet Earth though; it's a nice cap but it's too hard to appreciate it in normal use.
