Review: It’s really interesting - Kimi the man is so private that when they say this will be the only ever authorised book I believe them. It’s really interesting to learn a bit about what went into making him the man he is and how he’s changed from the heavy partying to being a loving Father. It covers stuff which must have been hard for the family to talk about like his Father’s death but also things that gave him his value system like going karting as a family in a van with nothing but each other instead of being one of those who literally turn up at the kart track in a helicopter to a ready prepared kart as is often now the case. I’m sure more is left out than is included and that Kimi never will be the guy who leaves his whole life open to public scrutiny by choice but this is an interesting read nonetheless and you do learn interesting things about him. I think I always admired his driving but now I like the man a bit more. A great read for any F1 fan. Thanks for reading my review Review: A Wonderful Surprise! - I have never had a problem giving anything top marks if it has given me everything I've wanted from it. So, this book. Plenty of quality time with the unique Kimi Raikkonen - check. Oodles of insightful and memorable info which gives me the real skinny on this man I find myself a fan of - check. Confirmation of some guesses and also some revelations which only bring Kimi into a clearer and kinder light. He could be the bloke next door and there is no-one else like him. I Undoubtedly, Kimi is a deeper and a wider (metaphorically speaking) man, than I thought. Rising up over everything, that gloriously dry sense of humour and no-one nonsense attitude with which he graces us all. Kari Hotakainen has done a fantastic job of bringing Kimi clearly and sensitively into a defining light. Good job, mate!

Disappointing
Disappointing commentary on a few aspects of Kimi's life. I didn't like the "third person, present tense" style of writing (eg "Kimi walks out of the lift past fans to get in his car. He drives quickly to the circuit...") I enjoyed the previously-unseen photos and there was some information about his private life, but I don't feel I know much more about Kimi than when I started reading the book. OK for £4.

It is different.
Just like the man himself the book is different from any other biographies. It is both sad and fun it times... sometimes even a bit shocking. I would not necessarily call this an biography but it definitely gives a glimpse of Kimi's life and a bit deeper understanding of his background and personality. Even though it is not detailed it all makes sense. I did not feel I had lots of unanswered questions once I finished the book although definitely more could be told. I highly recommend it is surely entertaining.

Excellent insight into one of the least public drivers
The book gave a whole new perspective over Kimi's career, especially his younger years and the challenges he faced to become an F1 driver. It was an incredibly insightful read about how he went from a loose cannon with all the shenanigans to a mature family man that he is today. For a driver that rarely speaks about himself, this book is a must read for all fans of Kimi.

For all the Kimi’s fans, a must read.
More a book about the man and less about the sportsman. I presume the author wasn’t there at the time, but I would have liked an indeep view of Kimi’s time at McLaren and Ferrari from a personal point of view. For all the Kimi’s fans, and I am, a must read.
