I had a Brent Pottery wheel for 3 years i bought brand new. I was the only person to use it, i take care of my stuff. At the end of year number three, the electronic card burned out. I paid quite a lot of money for a new one and had to pay an electrician to install it. The guy who replaced the card could not understand why the wheel was still not working, he soon came to the conclusion that the motor had gone. The people i originally bought from wish to have nothing to do with it as the guarantee had expired. The money to replace the motor and the transport from my house to the suppliers was far too much, i had to resolve to buy a second wheel. Nechama Haruni.

workhorse that takes a beating and keeps on working
I've been using Brent wheels for years. I've left this one out in the snow this past winter because of space constraints. It is working great and the electronics all seem sound and well sealed. I've had to take it apart to tinker with the pedal speed and found it very easy to work on. In my opinion (based on 25 years of throwing on the wheel) Brent wheels are only second in reliability to kick-wheels (and much less bulky!) It may seem like a spendy amount but you won't be sorry when you have a reliable tool that lasts years.
