Ended up reading the entire series myself and then giving them to her kids. This boxed set makes the second one I've bought for my younger Niece's kids. A good story, clean and teaches good qualities for young people. A little note to American readers, since these were written in England, your kids may need to be told that when characters say "torch" they mean flashlight and a few other slang terms that Americans don't use. Great series for young people (and adults) :)
Great series, I originally bought the first one for my Older Niece's kids, but read it first to make sure it was OK for young readers. Ended up reading the entire series myself and then giving them to her kids. This boxed set makes the second one I've bought for my younger Niece's kids. A good story, clean and teaches good qualities for young people. 8 year old LOVES these
We got this set of books for our eight-year-old son for Christmas. He can’t stop reading them. He really loves this series as he is into the Bear Grylls survivor TV show.
