Works very well to secure items and cover them in collage work. I’m also told it mixes well with paint to thicken it when needed. Convenient size. Will purchase again

I wanted a more unique way of displaying family photos and was introduced to this technique from a video online. Basically, you print a picture mirrored (flipped around because it will transfer backwards) with a laser printer—it has to be laser because the ink is made of plastic and not dye like an inkjet. You put a generous even layer of this acrylic medium on the image paper, then press the wood down on it using firm pressure to make sure there are no bubbles. Once it has dried entirely overnight, spray the paper with water and rub it away with your finger. Once the paper is all gone, you're left with the image fully transferred to the wood. Works awesome with black & white, but color looks really good too!If you have any acrylic clear coat spray, it'll make the image pop a little with more contrast like I have done here.These will look great on a mantle or shelf and should last indefinitely as long as the materials used don't yellow.

It’s inexpensive, easy to work with and produces the effect I want.

Used acrylic paint on glass & coated with this product to seal & hopefully waterproof the glass. Product was dried (1 thin coat only) for only 8 hours, not 24 full cure. I immersed in soapy dishwater, & product was not waterproof. It became quickly gluey & peelable so I removed & blotted dry. Paint was ok, still.Recommend testing with full cure time to see if waterproof & will fully protect acrylic designs on glass. (Acrylic paint washes off glass when wet, so needs a protective top coat).Also, gives frost sort of a light textured frosted appearance to glass, so top-coating with this product on just the painted areas that you designed might look better.Test first !

I highly recommend using this on canvas prints. It reduces glare and protects it from the ink getting rubbed off.

This worked well to protect an outdoors painted stone.

Nice Quality Matte Gel and the Price is Good-Love it

The product works well, it gives the matte finish that it is supposed to and maybe a bit more drying time to work with but it smells absolutely terrible! It's a chemical smell that gave me a headache and made me flee my studio space. It smells so bad that I had to go to Hobby Lobby (who I hate almost as badly as this smells) to get medium from Liquitex. I will not be buying any other medium from this maker for fear that it may stink up my studio. Never again

Très bon produit. Application facile, fini très mat. Bonne protection. Au séchage des couches peuvent paraître plus blanches, mais elles deviennent transparentes une fois sec.

Excellent produit de protection à appliquer sur toile peinture acrylique ou tout autres matériaux utilisés pour concevoir un tableau. Il s'applique aisément, il faut agir rapidement puisque l'enduit sèche vite mais un pinceau large et de bonne qualité est recommandable pour l'appliquer. Je recommande ce produit qui ne jaunit pas et n'altère pas les teintes! : )!

Très bon produit! J’ai appliqué 2 couches de vernis sur ma toile mais une couche aurait pu suffire. Je rachèterais sans problème
