Excellent performance
I ordered these dusk-to-dawn (without motion sensor) bulbs for the second time. We use them for a fixture on our front porch. They are reliable and have always worked well - coming on as the sun goes down and turning off at first light. They are very bright and light up the entire entry way at and around our front door. Easy to use, not necessary to position the sensor in a certain direction. Just screw the bulb in the same as you would with any traditional light bulb. On our porch, the bulb is on for close to 10 hours / 7 days a week and it lasted for over 3 years before it needed to be replaced. Very pleased with the quality and performance. I will definitely continue to purchase this brand in the future.

These Are My Go-To Outdoor Front Door Lights
This is the second time I've purchased these dusk-to-dawn light bulbs. I have used them for years now and they work perfectly - they are reliable in that they turn on/off exactly as desired, they are bright, they don't use much energy, and they last a long time. The other two that I've had in the past have lasted at least a year or longer which is impressive considering they go on and off every day. Unlike other dusk-to-dawn lightbulbs I just screw these in and don't have to worry about the positioning of the sensor. The bulbs are made well too - they are nice and strong. Very happy with these lightbulbs. If you're looking for a way to automatically light up your front or rear door, or patios, then this is a great choice. They don't work by motion, but work when the sun goes down and turn off when the sun goes up. Super happy with these bulbs and definitely a strong recommend from me.

Great because Iโm lazyโฆ but color a bit different than expected
2/2/25- We actually gave the second bulb to our next door neighbors and they liked it so much they actually took it when they moved, lol. They left all the other bulbs for new owners, except this one.I bought these because I am sick of having to turn our front porch light on and off every day. We have a 3 level townhouse, with front entrance being bottom level. We spend the majority of our days on the middle and top levels, going down to family room only at night, so I would have to remember to go down every morning just to turn off the porch light because I hate having lights on for no reason. My husband has all these smart things all over our home connected to one app that we control with our phones, and he is planning to buy a smart porch light as well, but we havenโt found one we like yet. In the meantime, I saw these and thought, โhuh, didnโt know that was a thing, yeah, gonna tryโ.They work exactly as described. Very convenient; I no longer have to worry about turning porch light on/off at all. We have had it for months and every evening it turns on by itself and every am back off. My onlyโฆ. not complaint, just statement to other possible buyers; the light is such a cool white itโs actually a bit blue. It was a bit of shock the first week or two. I guess we had just a regular warm bulb there before, so seeing our front yard/driveway/porch go from being a nice golden color to this very bright bluish white was quite noticeable. I expected 6000K to be a very bright pure white, no blue tint.It is exceptionally bright, which I do like a lot. Makes everything on our security cams show up very well at night, so that is a big plus. We did worry a little about whether neighbors would mind, just because itโs so bright and blueish, but itโs just lighting up our front property, itโs not like a crazy spotlight, so Iโm sure I was just being paranoid. We have gotten mostly used to the color, but I wouldnโt choose it again, and thatโs just a personal aesthetic preference. It was very easy to install/set up. We just screwed bulb in and turned switch on. The light comes on for a minute to let you know itโs not dead, then turns off if itโs daylight. I accidentally flip the switch all the time because we have too many switches in this house and itโs confusing, but it never affects the ability to work properly. Just flip it back on and itโs fine.Overall, it does what itโs supposed to, is very convenient, cheap price, and has been totally reliable so far.

Nice bright light for outdoor lamps - Updated: lifetime more limited than expected
Updated 2021-09-28:1 of the 3 dusk to dawn bulbs I used now is very dim. I got about 2.5 years of use. Based on an average of 14.5 hours of use during the California evening/night/early morning that is about 1.75 years short of the expected lifetime based on 20,000 hours. Still a great bulb, just not not a 5 star bulb.--------I waited 3 months before reviewing and so far all 3 bulbs are working fine, still bright. After the rain period entering summer now with one of them subjected to direct sunlight most of the day and many 90-100+F temps. Will update this late summer but hoping bulbs will be unaffected by harsh temps. These are better than using an adapter for sunset/sunrise as I needed a smaller bulb then. With these I get a brighter light outside my garage door and backyard doors.

Excellent coach lights.

Very Bright, Lasted 3 Years.
Itโs very bright, it keeps our driveway well lit, it lights up at dusk and shuts off at daylight. Our last one lasted 3 years, I hope this one will last the same or longer.

VERY PLEASED!
We were looking to buy multiple light fixtures with a dawn-to-dusk feature for security purposes, and for after-dark visitors' safety. But with 2 fixtures at our front door, 2 more at our garage, and 1 each at our back door and basement walk-out door, the cost would have been prohibitive (Each fixture costs $30.00 -- to $100.00+ at Home Depot, Lowes, etc.)That's when we found these dawn-to-dusk bulbs that screw into our existing fixtures for a fraction of the cost! We bought 2 of the "bright" bulbs (12W) for the front door. They worked so well that a month later we bought 2 more (8W) for the garage fixtures. When we were satisfied that they worked reliably and consistently, we bought 2 more for the back door and basement walk-out door, and we bought 6 more bulbs as spares.Couldn't be happier. It's been almost a year. None of the bulbs has burned out or needed replacing. They are on from dusk-to-dawn -- about 8 hours -- each night, every night. With 2 x 12W (very bright), and 4 x 8W (less bright, but still enough light to see out about 20 feet away) we use a total of 56 watts each night for all of them combined. That's less electricity used than one 60W incandescent bulb! The products shipped right away and arrived quickly. They were packaged securely and arrived intact and unbroken. We love how they work. Just leave the light switch in the "on" position. The lights will come on all by themselves when it gets dark, and they turn off by themselves when the sun comes up in the morning. We also bought a light switch plate cover guard from Amazon ($7.50 for a 4-pack). It goes over the light switch so you never accidentally shut the lights off.By the way, we had read some reviews that said that if you had 2 fixtures in the same location (like one of each side of your front door) one of the lights could prevent the other light from sensing when to come on. We have NOT experienced this problem with these lights. Neither at our front door, nor at our garage which also uses 2 fixtures.Bottom line: Couldn't be more pleased. Would buy again without hesitation. Highly recommend!
